  • "A very comfortable cottage in a very quiet location."

Owners live across the road and are most helpful. Great views of activity on the neighbouring farm could be viewed from the cottage. Handy location for many local attractions, Snape, Orford, Aldeburgh. We stayed in the Autumn, but a Summer visit would have the attraction of sitting out in the garden, which is secure for visiting dogs. The village pub does good food and superb ale. The staff are great and it is only about a 5 min walk.

  • "Had a wonderful week at Three Steps."

Could not fault accommodation or the owners. All equipment and facilities you would want. Not a massive garden but secure enough for our dog and there are so many amazing walks from the doorstep, it really wasn't a problem. Great location for exploring the coast and lots to do in the area. The walk around Minsmere finishing at the Eel's Foot Pub was just lovely! Really hope to be back soon.

The owners of the cottage were welcoming, had a bottle of milk chilling and a packet of biscuits for our arrival.

  • "Very nice cottage sadly let down by cleanliness."

The bath hadn't been cleaned at all, there was a dirty tide mark around the bath & by running your fingers around the bath you could feel the scum. The base of the toilet outside was also dirty. The inside of the microwave was splattered in bean juice. Other than that the cottage was fine & situated well for exploring the area.

  • "A modern, well equipped, and spacious bungalow with attentive friendly owners who live in the farm opposite."

One of the best. A good position for lots of walks and a short drive to RSPB Minsmere. Attention to detail was excellent with everything you could need (including operating instructions for all the equipment!). Would give facilities 100%+, but suggest shower could do with improvement/replacement. We'd be very happy to return.
