  • "OMG this house is amazing."

It is beautiful and very spacious. It has everything you need, it was like home from home. The garden was lovely, enough space for our dog to run around. It was perfect.

  • "Leiston House had everything we were looking for in a holiday rental."

The property was equipped with all that we needed and, in particular, a generous supply of towels which is a must with 4 adults and a child. Entertainment in the form of games, dvds and books for the evenings was a bonus, as was the ample parking. No complaints whatsoever and a great location with a park nearby and easy travel to places to visit.

  • "This was a great property with all you needed for a great break in Suffolk, so many great places to explore."

It was nice to enjoy the garden as the weather was great and we enjoyed a lot of walks from the house with our dog. We will be coming back again.

  • "It was a shame that the garden is a little neglected."

The grass (and weeds) needed a cut and a few shrubs would have made it look a bit more cared for. Otherwise the house is well maintained, comfortable and had everything we needed. This was our second visit and the property is well located for visiting the area we love.

  • "Immaculately presented and comfortable."

All the equipment you could possibly need. Quiet location, close to open countryside.

About the location

LEISTON

Aldringham 1 mile; Thorpeness 3 miles; Aldeburgh 4 miles.

Leiston is located in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast and offers excellent links to the popular seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. The town thrived by manufacturing steam tractors, and cast and machined metal products, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The town is now home to many of the workers of the nearby power plant, Sizewell, and is served well by an active leisure centre and the oldest purpose-built cinema in Suffolk, which today offers the latest digital 3D projection systems! The 14th century remains of Leiston Abbey lie northwest of the town and its high street has a good range of shops, banks, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, plus a Post Office and a library. RSPB Minsmere is a short drive away towards the coastline of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, which offers lovely walking opportunities through this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
