In great location to visit Suffolk coast and attractions.

  • "Nice, quirky property."

Low headroom inside was a bit of a surprise, especially the doorway into the bathroom. The floors aren't flat, but all that gives the property character. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. If you like something that isn't clinical lines and ultra-modern, then this is a great place to stay. Lovely welcome pack too.

Thank you for your review and you enjoyed the character cottage - this was an important element of the renovation process that the features were retained. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was very nice apart from the low level doorframe in the bathroom which was a bit of a hindrence as my other half is medium height and there is a lot of road noise from the main road."

The cottage has everything you need, apart from wardrobes which should be mentioned on the description and may be the very steep stairs which is difficult for people who have mobility issues.

  • "Just a couple of minor things, the torch is not working and the bottle opener needs replacing."

The hot water is extremely hot which could be dangerous and also wasting them money. The only other comment we would make is the outside patio is extremely slippery in the cold weather. Could do with a small grit bucket for the winter. As I said these are only minor and didn't ruin our stay in a lovely little cottage for two.
