  • "A lovely, clean and comfy cottage, furnished with all the mod cons in the kitchen."

The courtyard is bigger than advertised and a lovely sun trap. A super location too.

  • "Lovely cottage in a great location - well stocked kitchen gadgets, very comfy beds we had a great time - enclosed garden with table and chairs enabled us to have lunch outside in February."

Close to the beach, pubs and shops meant not needing our car for the week.

  • "Another lovely week in Southwold weather was perfect and warm."

Cottage is excellent and in a great position for all amenities. Nice and quiet garden better now that the mesh has been put down could do with a umbrella with the table. Thank you so much we can't wait to return next year.

  • "Our stay at 4 East Green was in June 2023, a quaint little terraced cottage clean and well presented has all the requirements for a comfortable stay dishwasher, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen, downstairs bathroom compact but functional, living room small but cozy, dining room seats 6, main bedroom bed comfortable with on suite toilet, other beds average with one bedroom bed child size bed but we did not require this bed so no issues for our stay, parking on street that's the look of the draw with this type of property, very close to the sea front, town and facilities all in all not a bad little cottage."

I will say 4 East Green is in a very noisy location with unsociable hours 6:30am kerbside deliveries consisting of loading and unloading from the brewery with forklift truck beeping, the Sole Inn pub has early beer deliveries 7:00am along with late night revelers from the Sole Inn pub, there is also constant dancing and squawking from the feather friends on the roof of the cottage maybe the owners could install preventive measures like other properties have installed to resolve the issue. If you don't mind the issues that this property holds then this property could be right for you but it's not for us.

  • "We loved our stay at your lovely cottage."

Perfectly situated overlooking Adnams brewery and the lighthouse. The beds were so comfortable we were sad to go back to our own! Also the cleanest house we have ever stayed at. Fantastic welcome pack with lots of yummy treats. Well equipped kitchen. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Only thing that would have been helpful to have was a stair gate to assist with keeping dog downstairs, we had to create a barricade haha! Luckily we brought our dog crate. Other than that we couldn’t fault it. Was the perfect place to spend our 10th wedding anniversary in our favourite place. Thank you for letting us stay, especially as last minute booking due to a leak at the property we were supposed to stay at. Shame we couldn’t stay for an extra night, we did try but Sykes never got back to us unfortunately, after saying they would.
