5 Customer Reviews

  • "Elkhorn was absolutely beautiful, as a group of 7 friends, we loved it from the minute we stepped through the door."

Comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Great choice and I’m sure we will be back.

  • "A large, warm, comfortable and very well equipped house."

Perfect for families. The two lounges were brilliant for separating the football fans watching tv from the more cerebral / sedentary crew.

  • "Excellent roomy house, plenty of space to escape !"

Ideally situated too, generally speaking we had no trouble parking close by with 3 cars. Nice touch got a call because there was no one in the property the night before us was ready for us to go in before heck in time. If I had a minor quibble, holiday properties tend to have a supply of 2nd hand books, puzzles or games (which were mentioned), luckily we bought our own supply. Also perhaps for people not used to the area maybe some tourist type leaflets (note no longer a Tourist Information centre in town). But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay (6 adults) and would defintely rebook (this our 2nd visit to Elkhorn).

  • "A really nice big house - felt that a bit more could have been done with the back yard which was a bit dull."

Did not fancy trying to down stairs shower room which needed a bit of up dating. The Belling cooker was fine for us but not sure it would work for a full house. Otherwise, of the many Best of Suffolks we have stayed in, this was a good one.
