  • "Dissapointed we had to sweep the floor with a broom which was full of hair, and wash the kitchen floor which had stuck on coffee granuals on it, could have had coasters and table mats, and no hanging space inwardrobe, the information on listing should state the amount of steps to the property."

We did have good enjoyable holiday.

  • "Holy Cow is a great find!"

The accommodation is well laid out, in excellent order, and a good location for a peaceful stay. We found it great for exploring Suffolk, and there are some lovely places to visit. The location is on a working farm which you will hear the occasional cow or tractor but nothing that will spoil your peace. The bed is both large and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Although we didn't make use of the pool, it is available for a free half hour each day which you can book with the owners. Altogether Holy Cow is highly recommended.

  • "Great property with every thing you need and a great location for exploring the area, how ever please bear in mind this is part of a working farm and comes with that quite a lot of flies, also the property is in an elivated position from the car park requiring you to navigate two small separate sets of steps to reach the property which i would suggest any older guests would need to be reasonable fit and able."

after pointing out all that i have no complaints and would return if visiting suffolk again, we had a great stay

  • "We had a very enjoyable holiday at the Holy Cow."

The property was clean and the bed very comfy. It was fairly well equipped although another set of cutlery and crockery would be helpful - or else a few more dish washer tablets.! The fly guard at the window wouldn’t stay down - kept springing up - a bit annoying. The welcome pack of biscuits and wine was much appreciated but we would have liked a carton of milk to make a tea/ coffee after a 4 hr journey. A nice quiet location a good place for exploring the area and not too far to the coast. We had would definitely go again.

  • "This was our second time staying at Holy Cow and we were not disappointed."

The accommodation is perfect, super comfortable bed, amazingly powerful shower and fast oven. The location is peaceful and lowing of cows an additional countryside bonus for a townie! I nearly forgot to mention the complimentary swim - perfect! The pool room and dedicated changing area is lovely and warm, having a leisurely swim after long walks is wonderful. We adore Suffolk and Holy Cow is perfectly situated for exploring the coast. I’m sure we will be back!

  • "Thank you so much for letting us stay in The Holy Cow."

We loved it. Beautifully and tastefully presented, pristine, with everything we could need, it was the perfect property for our first visit to Suffolk. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the bedding high quality, as we had hoped..We personally are not swimmers, but the swimming pool is an additional treat for anyone who is. Prospective visitors do need to be happy to use a car, as the property is located on a farm in the heart of the wonderful Sussex countryside and well away from public transport. This suited us fine. We loved it. Thank you. We should have loved to meet our hosts, to thank them for a wonderful holiday in their property.

  • "Holy Cow was a lovely place to stay in a beautiful, quiet setting."

The accommodation was very high spec and had a Indian decor theme, which was really nice and it was obvious that thought and care had gone into planning it. Everything we needed was provided and there was plenty of information about the local area and facilities. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

  • "Very nice cottage with plenty of additional needs."

However the lack of a wardrobe is an oversight that requires correcting. Also no table mats which are needed to protect table. Overall though a good cottage and would recommend.
