Helen, the owner, offered a really warm welcome and made us feel immediately at home/ease on arrival. Daffodil cottage was compact yet spacious enough to feel roomy, being open plan. It contained everything we needed to make our self catering week run smoothly. It was also clean and tidy and well organised/laid out. The gardens added to the experience: they were beautifully kept, peaceful and had a variety of different spaces and outdoors equipment to aid rest, relaxation, eating and socialising. We really liked the tree swing and hammock. The countryside setting was tranquil, and a short walk across fields to the river Deben, whilst also being 10 -15 minutes drive to the local town of Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo and the nearest large supermarket, and a half hour drive to the coastal resort of Felixstowe and also Rendlesham forest. I would not fail to recommend Helen, Daffodil Cottage, the beautiful gardens and the overall location to other holiday makers.
