The property

Situated in the rural village of Catsfield, in East Sussex, placed in the High Weald AONB, is this lovely converted stable.

White Hart Stable has been renovated into a wonderful holiday home for couples.

Internally, the property boasts a brightly decorated open-plan living space, with a sofa to curl up on of an evening with your loved one, while catching up with your favourite shows.

The kitchen has a set of pristine white units and sleek wooden worktops, with ample preparation space to prepare your meals, whilst the dining area has seating for three and is ideal for enjoying delicious romantic meals.

It offers a well-presented double bedroom with plush bed and matching bedside tables with lamps, ideal for some late night reading.

A family bathroom hosts an elegant bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day.

To the rear of the cottage is a delightful gravelled courtyard garden, where you can sit out with a cup of tea and watch the sunrise of a morning.

While you're in the area, take a drive towards the thriving town of Bexhill, which offers a plethora of local attractions for tourists to enjoy.

The De La War Pavilion is a modernist building from 1935 and has exhibitions on contemporary art with a bar and shop inside.

Why not visit Egerton Park, which is located within a few minutes' walk of the seafront and offers a spacious area for you to enjoy lovely country walks, while your little ones play in the play-zone?

Get involved with thrilling zip wires, climbing units, a tree house, sand area or opportunities for informal games of football or rounders, while Herstmonceux Castle, dating back to the 15th-century and set in 600-acres of Elizabethan gardens, is perfect for some scenic walking with your partner.

Just 30 minutes away form the property is the village of Rye, this medieval village is picturesque is steeped in history with its half timber buildings and cobbled streets is a great way to spend the afternoon.

Catsfield in a rural, rustic village, scattered with several farms and cottages. Set in an ideal countryside location, perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding, with stunning views over meadows and fields. The village was first documented in the Domesday Book of 1086, where it was recorded that "there is a little church serving the hall", and is considered to be one of the oldest settlements in the area, with Romano British period archaeological remains. Catsfield is located in the Sussex Weald, within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The church of St Lawrence dates back to Medieval times and is well worth a visit. With Battle only three miles away, a town that changed the course of English history, with its famous Battle Abbey, this is an excellent location.
