  • "Spotlessly clean, with a generous hamper left for us to enjoy."

Ideally situated just off the seafront close to shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. Thankyou

  • "The only issue we had was finding the front door, probably needs to specify it is down the alley at the left hand side of the house."

Flat had everything you need and was a great location. Plenty of good restaurants in town. No problems with parking as 2 hours free as well as the parking permits.

  • "Excellent facilities, and so close to the sea front so couldn't be better."

We spent most of our time outside walking along the sea front, and inside the property enjoying our food and wine. Can't fault the property at all, perfect for two, and the welcome package was at the very high end of expectations. Really enjoyed our stay on every level.

  • "Excellent accommodation, which is right in the heart of Bexhill-on-Sea and only a stones throw from the beach."

It had everything that we needed and we would definitely return again.

  • "Lower deck exceeded our expectations spotlessly clean very well equipped, very comfortable nice little touches like the welcome hamper and the fact all the cleaning products were there."

It was very well placed for all the places we wanted to visit just across the road and we where at the beach. The train station only a 6min stroll we caught the train to Brighton which was nice not to drive for a change. I got a quick response from Mia the owner when I sent her a message before we left. I would have no worries at recommending this property for a holiday also very close to some lovely restaurants and bars .

  • "A lovely apartment which was well equipped and spotlessly clean."

The location was also perfect; seafront, shops, eateries, pubs and an interesting museum close by as well as transport networks for if you want to travel further afield without using a car. We jumped on a train to Brighton, a bus to Battle and walked to Hastings. Booking was easy and communication with the owners was excellent which made finding the apartment and getting into the apartment effortless. From the moment we walked into Lower Deck, we felt relaxed and in holiday mode. In addition, a welcome pack was a lovely surprise and added icing to the cake.

  • "Very well fitted out apartment, lacking nothing."

Great location in Bexhill on Sea. Communication with owner first class

  • "We had everything we needed for our short stay at Lower Deck."

The kitchen was well equipped even including tea towels, oven gloves, coffee machine and much more - all the things you normally expect to have to take with you on a self catering holiday. A picnic basket and blankets had been provided and if the weather had been bad - cards and board games to help pass the time. The flat was ideally located for the Pavillion and prom, restaurants and shops.Parking was relatively easy initially courtesy of the local car park and then using the parking permits provided at 50p each. The small courtyard is a morning sun trap, and the flat staying a perfect temperature on a hot summers day - a relief after a day in the sun!.

Bexhill-on-Sea is also home to the world-famous De La Warr Pavilion, which features excellent arts programmes throughout the year. There are many interesting shops, museums and town gardens, plus a motoring heritage centre, as the town was home to the first British motor race meeting. The town also offers excellent sporting opportunities, with good golfing, sea fishing, sailing, windsurfing, wind kiting available and for walkers, the 1066 Country Walk. Within easy travelling distance from Bexhill-on-Sea are the historic market towns of Hastings and Battle with its abbey. The maritime Cinque Port of Rye offers narrow cobbled streets filled with antique and independent shops and tea rooms, while boats pass along the river.
