Very compact. I believe a single sized wardrobe would benefit us who have dresses, blouses, shirts, trousers. The parking permits were a boon to people such as us being slightly disabled, no more driving around looking for parking spaces. Mia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

There was excellent attention to detail with fabulously well equipped kitchen and extremely generous welcome basket. Hosts clearly really want guests to have a first rate experience ...a nd we did! Accommodation was warm and welcoming and h as a dedicated ventilation system so no issues with being a garden flat. We stayed for New Year and Lower Deck was really well positioned for all the local amenities including restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. We walked on the prom every day in between showers of rain and even saw some sunshine so it was different every day. All round an excellent break.

Mia goes to a lot of trouble to ensure it is welcoming, clean, cosy and has everything you could possibly need for a special holiday. We appreciated the welcome basket and the Christmas decorations. We had lovely long walks along the promenade, shopped locally and had an excellent meal at the Trattoria Italian restaurant round the corner. We also enjoyed the Steve Harley show and dinner at the De La Warr Pavilion. And we shopped and walked In Eastbourne twice, the second time by train which was easy and quick. We hope to return next year. Thank you Mia and Ashley

Found the tv and hob difficult to used. Misleading photo of the French door area, though it was more private than sitting in the street. I was very worried triping up in the early hours on the layout of the let. We decided not to stay even one night, booked a taxi home and left at 10pm which was very expensive but necessary.

To avoid disappointment in the future I would recommend reading the property description carefully and in full before booking. Lower Deck is exactly as described on the website. I wish you every success for the future in finding accomodation better suited to your requirements. Regards Mia. Property Owner

The immediate area is very quiet too, both day and night, so no problem sleeping! Convenient for the railway station, and for delightful Eastbourne and Battle.
