Mrs Edwards “A fabulously funky house in great location.”
Sea just a stone’s throw away with amazing views from the first floor lounge. A spacious, social, well equipped kitchen but cupboards could do with a sort out to remove chipped crockery, broken utensils, old herbs etc. and the dishwasher didn’t work very well. We were surprised that an electrician turned up unannounced which delayed our trip out. In the single room there is no hanging space for clothes and the first floor back room could do with full length hanging space (the shower head in this room doesn’t stay up). Despite these few housekeeping points, I would thoroughly recommend this house.

Ms Starling “In light of concerns raised in September I telephoned Sykes ahead of our arrival to check that concerns about bedding, towels and shower door had all been resolved.”
I was assured that they were....... However on arrival it transpired that none of them had.... a stressful few phone calls later resolved the bedding and towel issue for my friends. Clearly the result of poor communication on the number of intended guests! (One would have thought this a fairly basic piece of information!) The shower door was resolved during our stay. A nice spacious place and very well equipped kitchen. Fabulous views.
Mr Baugh “Although the house was well located initial parking and unloading was awkward.”
Our party was made up of pensioners and we booked this location as we all like our own facilities. One shower was out of order. The bed in the downstairs bedroom is very low and although not explained on the website is actually described as the student room in the house brochure.A very accurate description.Overall the house has great facilities and is great for accessing Worthing and Brighton.Superb bus service is just outside the front door great for people with a bus pass! Overall our holiday was most enjoyable
Mrs Jalland “Upon arriving, although the house was booked for 9 adults all the beds were made up, but no bed linen or towels were left out for the sofa bed so had to look for bedlinen.”
Found some in the wardrobe in the GF bedroom and in a storgae box underneath another bed. Could not find any towels so had to improvise and use our own towels we had brought for the beach. There was no cot mattress! we had brought our own cot bed linen but not a mattress so again ahd to improvise. If we had known we could of brought a cot mattress from home. The GF bedroom ensuite, the seat within the shower was not very clean. On inspection the FF front bedroom's ensuite shower cubicle was not clean. Serious Mould covering the grouted areas and the plug hole was blocked with masses of hair, hence it not draining properly - pictures have been taken - and the shower tray was dirty. The FF back bedroom ensuite, the bath plug hole was full of hair and did not drain so we had to clear this out before using the shower/ bath. The FF middle bedroom ensuite, the shower door did not close properly - it had come off its runners - so we had to sort this out. Some of the actual quilts were quite stained and the sofa bed needed hoovering before making in to a bed. The kitchen floor was not very clean and the tiles above the cooker were thick with grease. Some of the plates had not been cleaned properly, looked like they had been stacked up straight after use without being wiped or washed. The house could do with a good clean from top to bottom. Apart from this, the situation of the house and the house itself were spot on. Great location to all amenities and what was provided in the house ie all the utensils, games and decor and outside space were fab.
Mr Green “It was lovely to have such a well appointed and spacious house directly opposite the beach and close to the town centre as well.”
The upstairs sitting room, which overlooked the beach, was nicely furnished and lovely to relax in. All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and this was perfect for a family getting together for a holiday.
Mrs Inge “We loved the house it suited our requirements.”
Being across from the beach was fantastic and the view was amazing. I would definitely go again to the house it’s a great location and we loved Worthing.
Mr Mcneil “The accommodation was not in any way suitable for small children and even though your website says it was in the owners manual it states that it is not suitable!”
This house was tired and not very clean, the dishes were dirty and on inspection the dishwasher needed a major cleanup before it could wash dishes. This was due to all the holes in the arms being blocked with old food. I thought that as a company you did try to help with the issue over a stairgate and we appreciated that because without the stairgate we could not have stayed here. It was a lovely big property, but the maintenance and cleanliness let it down.
Mrs Hayes “A beautiful homely environment in a stunning location.”
Very well equipped and comfortable.
Mr Hills “Everything was great except property was infested with flies, but otherwise had a great weekend!”
A TripAdvisor Member “Amazing house, well equipped, beautiful sea views.”
Surprisingly quiet considering the main road. Great that you can bring your dog but unfortunately ours didn't settle well, we think due to odour (we couldn't smell it) of other dogs in the lounge. Lovely 15 min walk into Worthing along the Prom. Recommend the Imperial Chinese restaurant. Took the bus into Brighton (an hour's journey but fairly interesting).
Mr Hollingsworth “Shower for downstairs bedroom, the shower door needs fixing and also toilet seat doesn't fit properly, bit of a mold problem that needs cleaning.”
Loved everything else about place.

Mr Girling “The house was lovely and had everything we needed to have a lovely family holiday and explore the south coast.”
Mrs Evans “The location and size of the property was very good.”
Everything you could want was there.
Mrs Metcalf “This property is amazing.”
It has everything you could possibly need. The lounge has incredible sea views. What a treat to stay here. I would recommend this to everyone.

This cottage has been lovingly created by the owners to offer guests space and style in a tranquil setting with every room decorated and furnished with a contemporary theme in mind.

This room overlooks the beach and with a French door leading out to a small, covered balcony to sit and relax, where else could you enjoy such a perfect view?
Alternatively, step outside into the front or rear garden, both of which have seating and catch the sun at alternate times of day.
You can even dine alfresco using the barbecue for cooking fresh fish sold from the beach opposite.
Worthing has long been a town of choice when it comes to holidays.
Set a few miles along the coastline from the bustle and noise of Brighton, Worthing has a more traditional style of seaside holiday to offer with its pier, theatres, shops, restaurants and beautiful public gardens to wander around and enjoy.
There are also a number of gastropubs and cocktail bars to keep you entertained into the evenings.
Worthing is popular with watersports enthusiasts and cycling and the coastline is always appealing.
Although the beach looks pebble, once the tide goes out there is plenty of sand for building sandcastles.
This lovely home is a perfect choice for a vacation in this traditional seaside town at any time of year.
So whether you are looking to put on your swimming costume and rub in the sun-cream or lace up your walking boots and put on a jumper, make Worthing a town of choice and this cottage in particular.
