  • "Mouette is a lovely little home from home."

It is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. It's in a peaceful location within easy driving distance of Brighton. We loved it so much we've already booked to return next year.

  • "The garden hadn't been cleared of brambles or grass cut."

The front needed tidying up as all of this spoilt the first impressions. (Our little dog couldn't root around without getting bits in his fur & thistles on his paws) We had a problem with the boiler, but the owner was quick to show us how to fix the problem. Yes, you can share this with the owner as I'm sure the garden will be done before the next visitors. It was a beautiful bungalow and everything was supplied. Even provided dog towels, feeding & water bowls, a nice touch, very welcoming.

  • "The cottage was very clean, but also homely."

The location was great. Close to Brighton and Lewes. The information pack was really helpful and the games table an added bonus.

  • "This semi-detached property is very nicely decorated and the internal theme is excellent."

Clearly the owners have high standards for cleanliness and facilities. We had booked it because it was described as detached on the search page of the website and confirmed in the documentation so we were very surprised to discover that it was a semi-detached property. Having said that, the furnishings are very comfortable and the owners have clearly gone, internally, the extra mile to facilitate a stay. The Garden Room is delightful. If you are planning on exploring the surrounding area from Chichester to Eastbourne and the South Downs, this is an ideal base for your holiday.
