    Rose Cottage is a comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean little house in a nice quiet part of Horsham. We much enjoyed our stay and were able to visit friends and family and NT houses in several areas of both Sussex and Surrey. (The town is well situated centrally in S England with good communications except during the rush hour!). Our hosts Peter and Terri could not have been more helpful even providing a 'starter pack" which included freshly baked muffins. We would not hesitate to ...

Rose Cottage comes a short walk from the centre of Horsham, a fantastic market town with beautiful buildings and a fantastic range of amenities, as well as things to do including a museum.

If you fancy a day by the sea, Brighton and Worthing are within easy driving distance, also offering good amenities as well as a beach and a pier.

A picturesque market town on the fringes of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Sussex, it got its name through its history of horse trading. A great place for a relaxing holiday as the town centre boasts fabulous shopping in buildings from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, adding some real character to the place. As well as shopping it has a choice of restaurants along with the fun-packed Horsham Park and the Horsham Museum. Horsham was the home of Henry III's fifth wife, Kathryn Howard. Horsham comes surrounded by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the High Weald AONB, South Downs National Park and Surrey Hills AONB all nearby, excellent for you walkers and cyclists. If you fancy a trip to the beach, head to Worthing, within driving distance it offers a great range of amenities and activities.
