This period cottage is full of character and will appeal to couples, families or groups of friends who are happy to be in a totally rural setting with good access to dozens of villages and towns within easy reach of the cottage.
On entering the cottage, you will notice the character of the property with vaulted ceilings and original beams throughout.
The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious with its own dining area, making a great social space for preparing and enjoying some home-cooked meals.
The sitting room is next door with a welcoming open fire; a lovely place to sit and relax after a full day out and about.

Upstairs are two more bedrooms, with the extra flexibility of a shower cubicle in the en-suite of the double bedroom.
French doors from either the kitchen or from the ground floor double bedroom take you to the good-sized patio with furniture.

In the rear of the garden is a pretty pond with a summerhouse to enjoy.

Being set in a rural setting, there are numerous walks, cycle and bridleways from the doorstep to enjoy.
A few minutes’ drive takes you to the typical English village of Wisborough Green with a small selection of pubs, a village shop and a Post Office as well as a village green with a cricket pavilion which doubles as a social club also.
For a day out, why not take the children to Fishers Farm Park, which offers a mixture of farm animals and adventure play for families to enjoy?

Wisborough Green is a village in the Chichester district of West Sussex, 2 miles west of the town of Billingshurst. It is a typical English village with a village green, public houses, pond, church, village shop and Post Office in the centre of the village. There is a cricket pavilion on the green which doubles as a social club as well as a farm adventure park. Fishers Farm Park is a multi award-winning all-year attraction offering a unique mixture of farm animals and adventure play designed for families with children from 2 - 11 years old, a perfect day out for young families and grandparents alike. Billingshurst is close by and is home to many shops and public houses, along with attractive old buildings scattered among more modern houses with the oldest parts of St Mary’s Church dating from the 12th century. Just seven miles away is the attractive market town of Petworth, set in the South Downs National Park. Petworth has lovely shops, traditional country inns and gastro pubs, cafes, tea rooms, restaurants and a monthly farmers' market. Also on the edge of the town is the National Trust owned Petworth House and Gardens, which is set in a 700-acre deer park and was landscaped by ‘Capability’ Brown. Fittleworth is seven miles from Wisborough Green on the River Rother near Pulborough and has a largely deserved reputation as a beautiful part of Sussex, with Hesworth Common being a particularly lovely place for a stroll. Pulborough is a similar distance from Wisborough Green and is a large village, almost a town, on the River Arun with some lovely Georgian buildings around the church. Prominent in Pulborough is the remains of the castle which is swamped by woodland to the west of the village. Further afield is the city of Chichester with its magnificent 12th century cathedral and its fine Georgian shopping centre. Take a guided walking tour that will take you around Chichester and the city walls, or explore art galleries, museums and historic houses for a great day out.
