A few minutes’ drive takes you to the typical English village of Wisborough Green with a small selection of pubs, a village shop and a Post Office as well as a village green with a cricket pavilion which doubles as a social club also.

Wisborough Green is a village in the Chichester district of West Sussex, 2 miles west of the town of Billingshurst. It is a typical English village with a village green, public houses, pond, church, village shop and Post Office in the centre of the village. There is a cricket pavilion on the green which doubles as a social club as well as a farm adventure park. Fishers Farm Park is a multi award-winning all-year attraction offering a unique mixture of farm animals and adventure play designed for families with children from 2 - 11 years old, a perfect day out for young families and grandparents alike. Billingshurst is close by and is home to many shops and public houses, along with attractive old buildings scattered among more modern houses with the oldest parts of St Mary’s Church dating from the 12th century. Just seven miles away is the attractive market town of Petworth, set in the South Downs National Park. Petworth has lovely shops, traditional country inns and gastro pubs, cafes, tea rooms, restaurants and a monthly farmers' market. Pulborough is a similar distance from Wisborough Green and is a large village, almost a town, on the River Arun with some lovely Georgian buildings around the church. Prominent in Pulborough is the remains of the castle which is swamped by woodland to the west of the village. Further afield is the city of Chichester with its magnificent 12th century cathedral and its fine Georgian shopping centre. Take a guided walking tour that will take you around Chichester and the city walls, or explore art galleries, museums and historic houses for a great day out.
