"Very central spot - very comfortable stay"

"The property is great ease location to Inverness city center."
The amenities and ease of access to supermarket, shops, restaurants etc. is second to non. The room was super open and great for a weekend get away. Lovely place and set up.

"The property was lovely, thank you so much!"
The only thing we could see for information was about the smoke alarms. My spouse accidentally set them off one morning while using her hair straightener, and we could not figure out how to silence them. I tried pushing all the buttons on them, but ended up having to fan them all to quiet them. Not a complaint in anyway as it was just a minor inconvenience, and we were worried about upsetting the people upstairs. It was a very beautiful place to stay, and we had a wonderful time there. Thank you

"The apartment is lovely and is within easy walking distance of the town."
We were having a lovely holiday until Sunday morning when my husband said that there was no hot water and so could not have a shower. Despite me phoning the 'emergency number on the kitchen wall - George - was not answering his phone. I also tried to call Sykes Cottages and eventually got through mid morning and the lady who answered the phone said that someone would get back to me. Well she did - about 30 hours later. Because we thought that someone was going to come and repair the boiler we put our sightseeing plans on hold for the day so effectually LOST 1 day of our holiday - Thanks. I tried to phone again the following day and eventually a woman from a cleaning company called me back - when we were on a pre-booked tour - and asked me if we had reset the boiler? My reply was that neither of us were qualified plumbers and were not prepared to touch someone else's boiler because if we did something wrong then you would charge us for it. So she went round and fixed the boiler. When we returned to the apartment the boiler was working again. Also, she had changed the emergency number on the kitchen wall to that of the cleaning company. What a shame that someone hadn't done that before we arrived, then we wouldn't have WASTED a whole day of our holiday. So we would like recompense for our lost holiday day. Please send £75.00 to the card number that I paid you from.

"The apartment is beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice."
We spent a lot of time out of the apartment looking at the beautiful area we were in. Everything is easily accessible, with a supermarket quite litterally round the corner! We had the pleasure while we were there to hear bagpipes being played one evening close by & the cathedral bells being rung. It’s a beautiful place to relax after you have been out sightseeing all day. Home from home x will definitely be back x

"Amazing property, absolutely massive, super clean and had everything you could possibly need!"
Stayed whilst working at Eden Court Theatre so the location is also perfect. Highly recommend & would love to stay again. Maybe worth noting on the check in instructions, the door to the property is to the left of the Mary Ann Villa down some stairs as it was a little hunt to find the door but no issue once I found it.

"The property was lovely clean and tidy in a lovely courtyard on the bottom of a villa , not so far from the city and views with shops and restaurants close by ."
. it had everything you needed for ur stay including tea coffee and sugar cleaning -washing products washer dryer Wi-Fi etc, only one small issue no masher or peeler to hand but over all very good and super comfortable after a long day out

"We love coming to Mary Ann Apartment, it’s so quirky."
I love everything about it. On the downside of things there are one or two things would improve it even more, perhaps a small freezer, the television seems to have only a few channels and you do hear if there are people in the villa overhead, I have recommended it to everyone though. Great and prompt service for any needs, using the telephone contact number in apartment.

"It was great until family moved in above then you could here every foot fall not so good."
To improve our stay would of handy to have a freezer however small. Last of all the holes around the kitchen work top just cosmetic but was a shame with a nice looking place. Hope this is helpful we did enjoy our stay and would consider coming back

"This apartment is very spacious and comfortable."
It is ideally situated for walking into town, along the river and to the bus/train station. Also, there is a supermarket within 5 minutes. Taking into account its location it was incredibly peaceful BUT for one thing - there is no noise insulation between the apartment and villa situated immediately above, hence we could hear every footstep and chair movement that was made. This did rather impact the serenity of the holiday. If it had not been for this, the apartment would definitely get a 5 star rating.
-
"We loved the apartment and it is close proximity to everything."
The one and only thing we would point out is the unit upstairs was very noisy.
-
"The serenity of the stay was somewhat marred by the noise from the residents staying in the Villa above the apartment."
The same residents set off the fire alarm on Saturday morning......Perhaps the acoustics of The Villa could be investigated as it was extremely noisy and at unsociable hours. There was no noise on the Saturday night and it was beautifully serene.

"Very clean, comfortable and well kitted out."
Close to town and local amenities.

"We loved the Mary Ann apartment."
It was beautifully furnished, with an unusual but very attractive layout. Situated close to the cathedral and beautiful riverside walks. We would definitely stay here again.

"The flat was very well situated, It was quiet and had off street parking which was free and safe."
The equipment was excellent but we would have appreciated some hand towels as well as the sumptuous bath towels provided. We had a few teething problems with electrical things eg the Neff hob which did not work but was being dealt with. The kettle stopped working on our last day and we did not know why this had happened but we were able to boil water in a saucepan for a hot drink before we left. We would book this flat again if we needed to be in Inverness again.
Thank you for your feedback its important to us! Our management team are on hand to assist with any issues during your stay. We have since replaced the kettle and the hob was rectified at the time. We are really pleased to read that you had a great time overall and hope to receive you again, kind regards the owners! Property Owner

About the location
INVERNESS
North Kessock 5.9 miles; Dores 9.2 miles; Tomatin 15.5 miles.
The Capital of the Highlands, the city of Inverness, is the gateway to the countless delights of the Highlands of Scotland. Towering mountains, dark lochs, great forests and precipitous sea cliffs are all within easy reach. Of particular note is the legendary Loch Ness, which is surrounded by some truly breathtaking scenery, although most visitors are usually on the lookout for something a bit more mysterious! Just outside the city is the Culloden Battlefield at Culloden Moor (National Trust). The site of the last major battle fought on British soil, there is an award-winning display depicting the battle, whilst a walk on the field serves as a poignant reminder of the clansmen who lost their lives. Inverness itself has much to offer, museums, an art gallery, fine theatre and leisure facilities, not to mention shops, pubs and restaurants. The River Ness flows through the city and both the river and neighbouring Moray Firth are home to a diverse range of wildlife and marine life including red kites, along with dolphins, which can sometimes be seen from the shore, or on trips from the harbour.
