The property

Copper Cottage is a delightful Victorian end of terrace, two bed cottage with sunny patio and garden.

Situated in the heritage quarter in the centre of the historic market town of Devizes, the cottage can be found off Bridewell Street in a quiet and peaceful Square.

Bridewell dates back to the 16th century when it used to be the site of a prison before being converted in 1830s as the local police station.

Giving you an excellent base to explore the area, Copper Cottage is ideally located a 5 minute walk to Devizes town centre and the Kennet and Avon canal.

There are great walks along the canal especially to the famous Caen Hill locks, a series of 29 locks with a lovely cafe at the top!

Avebury, Marlborough and the prehistoric sites of Silbury Hill and Kennet Long Barrow are all within an half hour drive and there is a direct bus service into Bath which runs late into the night.

Devizes is also home to the renowned Wadworth Brewery which offers brewery tours and tastings!

There is also a vibrant market scene with a major market dating back to 1141 every Thursday along with a daily indoor market in the Shambles and specialist markets.

The town has a wide range of bars and coffee shops and great places to eat.

Stepping inside Copper Cottage you will find a cosy living room ideal for unwinding after a busy day with books and games supplied.

There is a well equipped modern kitchen including a Rangemaster oven and dishwasher.

The spacious table is ample space for social dining for four.

There is a ground floor bathroom with underfloor heating complete with freestanding feature bath and separate walk in shower.

Upstairs are two generous bedrooms, ideal for families or couples.

The main bedroom has a king size bed exuding quality and luxury and the second bedroom has twin beds.

All beds have top of the range mattresses and bedding for a great night’s sleep.

Outside there is a generous secluded patio with a mature garden to relax in during the warmer months.
