  • "This was our second visit to Cow Drove Cottage (we were one of the first guests last summer)."

Everything was perfect, just as before. We love the well thought-out barn conversion (including blackout blinds and curtains in the bedroom) and the calming luxurious decoration style. On our previous visit, we discovered the area's quiet beauty: its a location undiscovered by tourism, so a very relaxing environment. Plenty of good pubs for eating out , so not too remote at the same time. The community village shop provides essential stuff and good food. Tisbury has a decent small Co-Op, a great deli/coffee shop, and a fishmongers so you can top up supplies easily. The garden is so beautifully kept, with views onto the sunny hillside opposite. It gave us the downtime that we were looking for. Recommended!

Paula made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage has been beautifully renovated with large airy rooms and is very tastefully decorated throughout with exceptional attention to detail. The cottage was immaculate, and every caution has been taken to ensure the cottage is Covid safe. The cottage is ideally situated in a beautiful location ideal for exploring Wiltshire, Dorset, or Somerset. Unfortunately, our car broke down on the way home so not quite the relaxed end to the holiday we had hoped, but the last few days away have been so relaxing neither of us minded too much. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough and will most certainly will be returning when we are next in the area.
