  • "This is a really cosy little cottage that was a perfect base for a few days of fell walking around upper Swaledale."

Chilly on arrival but warmed up very quickly. The gas fire which is built to look like a log burner gives you all the benefits without the hassle and now I want one! Beds comfy, great shower. Compact living room and kitchen but perfect for 2 people. Really beautiful views including the river a few metres away. Walks from the door in the area are exceptional and abundant. Rachel the owner was lovely and accommodating to our requests. We will definitely return, in fact we are already looking’
