Foxes Den is compact and well equipped, with lounge area, dining area and neat kitchen, sleeping area with king size bed and bathroom with double shower, all brand new at the time of our stay. The dining table folded down to make room for our dog pen where our dogs stayed comfortably when they were resting after their long walks! WiFi was a great bonus as there was no phone signal and it meant we could still contact our teenagers at home! I have already told all my friends and family about these lovely hideaways and we can not wait to return! Thank you Steve and co. Faultless!

We are so pleased you and your four legged family enjoyed the stay. We could not tell at all that your dogs had stayed with us. They are obviously a lot cleaner and better behaved than our dogs. STAINDROP

Barnard Castle 5 miles; Durham 20 miles.

The pretty Teesdale village of Staindrop has always been closely associated with the fortunes of nearby Raby Castle and its owners. The Castle (open to the public) is one of the most grand in England. Enlarged and beautified over the centuries, the medieval heart remains and a walled garden and 200 acre deer park add to the splendour. Staindrop has many interesting shops, pubs and cafes set round its long village green. The popular market town of Barnard Castle is 5 miles away, with its castle, the Bowes Museum, plus of course its wide range of shops and tea rooms. Walkers will enjoy the many walks around Teesdale.
