  • "Absolutely fabulous property."

Had a great week here. Very spacious, clean, everything we needed for a relaxing week. Loved the spa bath. Nice location. Would definitely recommend this property.

  • "We had a lovely stay at the Amber Rooms."

The location is fantastic with great amenities both within the cottage and within walking distance of the property. If we are in the area again we will be staying here.

  • "Excellent and very clean cottage."

Only things I would change as has been mentioned by others is the lounge furniture and the dining table furniture are really not comfortable especially if it is a group of 4. A change would make it an excellent stay with its wonderful coordinated feel re artwork and furnishings!

  • "The cottage was very stylish and spacious, particularly the kitchen, although was a little surprised that there was no dishwasher."

The king bed was very comfortable and the addition of the hot tub in master room was fabulous, although felt more detailed instructions on how to use it would have been useful. Although we didn't use the second bedroom, it looked lovely and nice that it had it's own ensuite shower room and toilet. Nice setting and good that there was onsite parking. Stanhope is a nice place to visit and we hope to return again one day. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

  • "Lovely stay."

Property is amazing but just needs a few tweeks to make it perfect. Needs a table and chairs to eat at leisure, kitchen stools are extremely uncomfortable. Couch uncomfortable in lounge. All these are easy fixes and amber rooms would be perfect. I prefer an outdoor hot tub but this is just a personal one. Welcome wine and biscuits was a nice touch. Dressing gowns add luxury to our stay.

The hot tub is great after a long day out.

  • "The property was spotless and beautifully furnished with everything needed for a perfect, luxury week away."

The welcome gift was a lovely touch. My daughter commented that she felt like a princess living in the castle! The spa bath was amazing! The area was great for relaxing and going for walks with our dog. There was also lots of places to explore within a short drive. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Amber Rooms.

  • "The most beautiful and romantic stay for Valentine’s Day!"

The cottage was amazing and was beautifully decorated for me and my partner to celebrate! We had the most wonderful time and made some special memories! Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone and we will definitely be back! Scott is an absolute diamond too! There’s nothing he won’t do to help or assist you and ensure you’re happy and have everything you need! We had a few issues but these were dealt with right away and didn’t affect our stay! Can’t wait to stay at one of your cottages again in the future! We will see you soon ❤️

Accommodation was lovely very high standard The settee was uncomfortable so it was hard to relax on it The kitchen was amazing It was very clean Wemanaged lots of walks not much open due to winter but we already knew this before going

  • "The property was well kitted out, extremely clean and they made us feel very welcome."

The only negative is the seating areas. The living room looked nice, but was not comfortable to relax in, so spent most of our relaxation time in the bedroom. The kitchen seats were only just comfortable for us both and neither of us could be considered 'large'. Any larger and the seats would have been uncomfortable. It was a very nice property with a very high standard of facility, but the comfort unfortunately let it down, slightly.
