Wonderful walks can be enjoyed from these apartments, with the Weardale Way passing through the town, or why not take a wander along the high street to the stepping stones and cross the River Wear, from there a rather challenging incline will take you to the surrounding moorland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the second largest in England and Wales, boasting great scenery and wildlife? A short drive will take you to Barnard Castle, Durham, Corbridge, The Bowes Museum, High Force and Rokeby Hall, all easily reached for a day’s outing. With so much to see and do in the area, these apartments are the perfect place for friends and family to get together for a celebration or a countryside break.
