"The house was lovely."
Spacious bedrooms and just as we expected. It made a great base for to get out and about in the area.
One point to note is that it might be challenging to prepare a meal for 8 adults in the kitchen with the equipment and that cooker. Ok though if you plan to eat out or get takeaways.

The area of Stanhope is a great breakaway, even tho we were only an hour away from home it's a lovely place to visit. There isnt one fault I could give and certainly would be staying again. My family and I had a great weekend.Thankyou

"This was a beautiful apartment."
Decor and furnishings were great bathrooms and kitchen were of high standard and well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean . If I had any criticism it would be that the fridge was a bit small for a party of eight. All in all superb accommodation.

The swimming pool looked ace (we didn’t go as it was so busy on a hot bank holiday weekend) and the park was lovely. The Ford next to the park was brill fun and kids loved it!!
Apartment was beautifully decorated, immaculate and well equipped and it was lovely to receive a bottle of fizz and box of chocolates on arrival, thank you

"The apartment was so clean and well presented!"
We could have used more hanging space- there is no dryer and also we had rain everyday. Apart from that, the flat was more than we could have expected- lovely. We were worried about the on-street parking only, but there was plenty of space. We especially enjoyed the (mostly) independent shops being close, cafes, bakers, butchers etc. as well as a Co-op for all the rest. At the same time, a 10 minute walk took us right out into beautiful countryside.

"Welcome was fantastic."
The owners were lovely and very willing to go the extra mile to help and to sort out any difficulties or questions. With 4 children I was worried that it was going to be difficult to keep them occupied but far from it. The location was great! Loads to do whatever the weather - from the Roman fort and Bowes museum, Durham cathedral and steam rains for the culture, to standing under a waterfall after a fabulous and free walk in the Pennines. The heated open air pool in Stanhope was great. Lots more to do. At the end of a busy day the apartment was perfect for families. Easy to cook and wash - loads of cutlery and crockery so that you don't have to run the dishwasher between every meal as in many properties. Clean, hot showers and both showers can be used at the same time without loosing power.
The fresh local eggs on arrival (as well as other goodies) were just the perfet bonus! Recommend to everyone.
