The property

Holly Garth is a stunning chocolate-box cottage situated in Romaldkirk, Durham.

The pretty village has two pubs within walking distance and the town at Middleton-in-Teesdale, four miles away, offers a good selection of shops.

The interior décor is high-quality standard with wooden furnishings which coincide and compliment the light walls.

Stepping through the front door, you will be greeted with a spacious open-plan living space.

Your toes will sink into the lovely velvety carpet on your way into the living room with its plush sofa and armchair.

You and your partner can relax here at the end of a busy day and unwind in front of the flatscreen TV with the cosy woodburning stove keeping you warm, especially during those chilly winter months.

There is a selection of books and games for those evenings there isn't anything on TV.

To the back is a dining area with seating for two, perfect for enjoying a cosy romantic meal together.

The kitchen has been fitted with a set of cream units and wooden worktops.

Use this stunning kitchen to your advantage and treat your partner to a lovely home-cooked meal.

Upstairs has a spacious king-size bedroom, with its own walk-in dressing room and wardrobe.

With a TV for some early morning TV shows before starting your day, and a feature fireplace, giving the room a welcoming and countryside feeling.

The property also has a modern bathroom with both a bath and a walk-in shower.

Here you can relax after a long day and ease up those tired and aching muscles.

There is off-road parking available for one car and this is on a first come, first served basis.

Outside has a small stone area with a table and chairs.

Romaldkirk is a short drive away from Barnard Castle, which has a number of tourist attractions that are a must-see.

Venture towards Eggleston Hall Garden, the gardens itself have been present since the 16th century with a private chapel that was closed in 1868.

The idyllic gardens are home to a variety of exotic plants, which are available to purchase.

This makes for a wonderful destination on your tour of the countryside of Durham.

Holly Garth is the perfect property for a peaceful and tranquil holiday.
