  • "The Coach House really was a perfect place for us to stay and have some rest and relaxation."

It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm and had everything we needed. Debbie and Nigel were close by in case of any problems but we didn't see them to talk to until our last day. They are lovely and friendly and provided some lovely buns, flowers and milk for our arrival. We had some lovely walks into the Wear valley, drove into Stanhope for the butchers and bakers and greengrocers. We had a coffee by the open fire in the Vicars Pele tower in Corbridge. It was freezing outside so it was great to find somewhere to warm up. Our dog was more than welcome in there and was given a few biscuits. We liked the bookshop opposite the cafe too. Information on both places, and more was provided by Debbie before our arrival. I can't fault anything and I can't think of anything that could be improved either. I have recommended the Coach House to family and Friends already. We had the best week - thank you!

No expense spared on the equipment. We had everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The owners were most helpful in their suggestions as to places to see and eat etc. There were plenty of leaflets and books on the area in the cottage too, so very much spoilt for choice. Thank you very much for a lovely stay
