About the location
Scorton 2.25 miles; Richmond 8 miles; Northallerton 8 miles.
Kiplin is a small hamlet in North Yorkshire, just 2.25 miles from Scorton where you can find a convenience store and pubs and 8 miles from Richmond where cobbled streets and narrow alleys or 'wynds' enshrine over nine centuries of busy history and unique character. Within the town, narrow streets and alleys radiate from the cobbled Market Place (which has a weekly market and monthly farmers’ market) and there are numerous shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. West of Richmond is All Creatures Great and Small Country, plus the county town of Northallerton is also close by and boasts market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays, when both sides of the High Street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce, and on the fourth Wednesday of the month the market is joined by a farmers' market. This is a wonderful holiday area, with so much to see and do.
