  • "Poor access up the horrible steps."

This area needs some care and attention. Cottage spacious but not for us bit dated and plenty of cobwebs and spiders. Would definetly not stay here again

Thank you , we take feedback very seriously. We have all pictures showcasing our wonderful let on the site.. I am sorry that you feel the preperty a bit dated,we fing that a property over 200 years facinating. We are constantly making sure that the property and surroundings are free from cobwebs but with the skillful sipers it only takes a few minutes to recreate their masterpieces. Living in the countryside this is only to be expected. I am again sorry that this spoilt your stay and maybe next time you may prefer to chose a more built up area. We only hope that guests do look at the photos and description before they decide to stay. Property Owner

  • "Lovely place and area, very well equipped."

They literally thought of everything a self-catering guest would need. Very close to Barnard Castle and all amenities. Unfortunately if you are scared of spiders and creepy crawlies then this is not the place for you. Lots of cobwebs and dust within the property, other than that a great stay.

  • "Really couldn't fault the property - very well presented and well equipped with everything we could need and the welcome goodies were much appreciated too."

All the info in advance was accurate, we had no problems finding or assessing the property. Neighbours were very friendly and the building was quiet. Very well situated for both local walks and nearby sights and attractions, we had a really lovely time and would quite happily book the property again.
