The best thing about this apartment is the owner Linda, such a lovely lady, she goes above and beyond to make sure your holiday is perfect for you, always on hand with a speedy reply should you have a query. The apartment was faultless. The location and views from the windows were fabulous. Waking up in bed and being able to watch the sun rising over the sea was so special. This was probably the best equipped holiday let we have stayed in. Everything you needed was there. Great selection of glasses, mugs, crockery and cutlery. All good quality too - no mix and match!! The welcome pack on arrival was also the most generous we have ever had. Really thoughtful and very nice biscuits! The location is perfect too. So much to do within walking distance and plenty of places to eat and drink. If you are a fan of beach combing, the little beach less than 5 mins walk was fabulous for sea glass and pottery, but please don't tell everyone! I had to contact the host a couple of times with queries (not problems!) and she could not have been more helpful. Would recommend this in a heart beat and most definitely will go back. Thanks so much

The views are spectacular and the location was perfect. We found the apartment to be nice, unfortunately the sofas aren’t the ones in the photos and the replacements weren’t particularly comfortable. The heating was great for the early part of the week when it was cold out but it was too warm in the latter part when it warmed up outside. The storage heaters take a long time to cool down. The welcome pack was lovely and the host clearly thought of everything, there were just a couple of elements which made it a bit uncomfortable. Finally, as a woman who likes to do hair and makeup, there was nowhere to do that! A small vanity area would have made all the difference! I had to stand in front of the mirrored wardrobe with my stuff laid out on the bed. Overall this was a lovely apartment and May suit many people but didn’t quite suit us

The coastal town of Hartlepool lies north of the Tees estuary, with the North York Moors to the south and the majestic cathedral town of Durham, a short drive to the North West. Seaton Carew beach and its associated demanding golf course lies two miles down the coast and a short drive brings you to Saltholme RSPB Reserve, where seals and wading birds are regularly spotted. The more adventurous will be attracted to the impressive Teesside White Water Centre, whilst others may prefer a quiet walk along the Tees riverside walk.
