  • “This is a lovely cottage but gives out mixed messages.”

The barn conversion is very high quality, all equipment and furnishings top quality. As a boutique hotel it scores highly. As a self catering cottage it misses the mark. Two spacious bedrooms one with tv, huge shower room also extra toilet and basin. Entrance area also serves as lounge which is cramped and lacks cosiness, dining area is cramped and would seem insufficient for four adults. Kitchen area also high quality but no freezer nor washing machine. Inadequately provided with basic cooking ...

Entrance area also serves as lounge which is cramped and lacks cosiness, dining area is cramped and would seem insufficient for four adults. Kitchen area also high quality but no freezer nor washing machine. Inadequately provided with basic cooking utensils such as tin opener, colander, or sufficient ovenware. We saw no-one during our stay despite owners living on site. This cottage is fine for good weather holidays assuming holidaymakers wish to eat out all the time.
