Location is very rural and just what we hoped for. Cottage contained everything we needed, very spacious and comfortable - layout worked really well for large family, large dinning room and lounge to all get together - spread out bedrooms and bathrooms so you aren't on top of each other. Hosts fantastic - available when needed. The children loved all the animals, playing with the sheep dogs, seeing the goats, horses and even feeding the lambs. Local pub and chippy well worth a visit. The Lodge is real find and excellent base for travelling out to explore the Dales.
