This stone terrace cottage lies within the historic village of Cononley, just a stroll from the local pub and with countryside walks across verdant hills.

This charming bolt hole offers couples a chance to escape their busy routine and enjoy some quality time together in a beautiful region of Yorkshire.

Climb the stone steps from the front and step through the entrance, where you are greeted with a decorative tiled floor leading through to the sitting room.

With quirky household accessories, modern fixtures and an engineered wooden floor sweeping across the space, you can fully relax and feel at home in this cosy dwelling.

Continuing through to the kitchen, you can rustle up a tasty meal for your partner and get together at the dining table set for two, with views out across the pretty garden to the rear.

Upstairs is where you can find the stylish king-size double bedroom, which boasts plenty of wardrobe space, a dressing area and wall-mounted TV.

Wake up to a morning cup of tea made by your other half and absorb the cheerful views from the window before heading to the bathroom adjoining.

Summer evenings will have you out on the patio to the rear with a chilled drink or a good book to delve into.

You can stroll to the pub in the village or head further to Cross Hills nearby for shops and other handy amenities.

About the location

CONONLEY

Skipton 4 miles; Harrogate 22 miles.

The attractive village of Cononley lies in Airedale, four miles south of Skipton. The village's 17th century heritage is still visible in some of the buildings, with an even greater number remaining from the villages heyday as a 19th century centre for hand loom weaving and lead mining. There are two pubs, a Chinese take-away and a mainline railway station with links to Leeds, Skipton and the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway line. Nearby Skipton, known as "The Gateway to the Dales", has an ancient castle, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. Enjoy a canal trip on a traditional barge or visit Embsay Steam Railway or the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
