The property

Settled deep within the luscious landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, within the idyllic village of Pateley Bridge, is this beautiful stone cottage.

Spread over three floors, Badger House is a lovely spacious dwelling offering a fantastic base from which a family or group of five can enjoy an unforgettable escape to the countryside.

Snuggle up on the bright teal sofas that decorate the homely sitting room, and delight in an entertaining movie on the TV before chatting with friends about your upcoming adventures.

Impress your nearest and dearest with your culinary skills in the elegant kitchen/diner as you prepare a fabulous feast for all with the help of the contemporary double oven and handy gas hob, before taking your seats at the dining table or venturing out onto the patio for dinner alfresco on those warm summer evenings.

Up on the first floor a gorgeous master bedroom can be found hosting a king-size bed, as well as a tranquil family bathroom benefiting from both a large tub and a separate walk-in shower.

Climb a further staircase up to the second floor and be presented with two further bedrooms comprised of a twin exuding light from the attractive Velux windows, as well as a single with a handy trunk bed providing an additional pull-out single bed.

Embark on an awe-inspiring hike through the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Beauty and uncover the Lower Huller Stones, Graffa Plain and Druid's Temple.

Pateley Bridge, voted Great Britain's Best Village High Street in 2016, is a charming Dales town nestled in the steep-sided valley of the River Nidd. Quaint little alleys and yards off the steep main street house many interesting shops offering a wide range of unusual gifts and mementos, plenty of places to eat and drink, two award-winning butchers, a fishmongers, a bakery and the oldest sweet shop in England. Pateley Bridge is well known for its prize-winning floral displays, whilst the nearby leisure centre incorporates a swimming pool and the riverside park with children's play area is not to be missed. Also worth a visit are the town’s Craft Workshops and the award-winning Nidderdale Museum - a lively collection of displays illustrating all aspects of Dales life in the past. Up and downstream, the Nidd Valley offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and birdwatching.
