  • "Cottage was located by a caravan park where dogs barked all night, and also next to a function room where music kept us awake."

The fire was broken and detached from the wall and the couches were really uncomfortable

  • "The house was clean and very well “dressed” presented lovely."

The only thing wrong was with the sofas. One didn’t have any back cushions and the other one was to long you had to be 8 feet tall to sit comfortably in either. Quite spoilt the whole thing.

  • "Hi We stayed at the cottage for weekend."

We found it very clean and tidy. And plenty utilities to use for cooking. And was a good size and are son loved that he could play football on the grass opposite the property that is shared with the two cottages. The was lot people complaining about the noise of the dogs. You can hear them though the day. But the extra window that has been put in the main bedroom helps a lot and can’t hear them at night. The second bedroom my son had problems sleeping due music playing very late at night from the golf club next door. As they unfortunately had a wedding on. Then the next night they had a disco and was the same with music playing late at night. So my son ended up sleeping in the main bedroom with myself. And my husband went in the back room. Overall, we had a lovely stay. And it was nice that bread and milk and bacon and butter was provided and I was extra biscuits and popcorn that my son loved. And was a bottle of Prosecco. Out side you got your own hot tub. And bbq to use that was great. Thanks for a lovely stay.

  • "A lovely well equipped cottage with some fascinating decorations."

the Hot tub was excellent as was the shower which we would happily fit in our own home. The only thing i would say that we found a bit of a nuisance was the dining arrangement which is a high bar type table with four backed stools which my wife could not comfortably sit at. that aside I would recommend the cottage and location to anyone.

  • "This place was incredible, we spent 2 nights here and just wish i’d have booked more."

The space was incredible and the shared area was perfect for kids to play football and hide and seek. There is a pub just a short walk away and overall the views and things to do in the area made this stay fantastic.

  • "The decor of the cottage is excellent ,the facilities are mostly good, the lack of an occasional table to put ones drink on when sat on the sofa was irritating."

It is probably beyond the owners control but the continuous yelping and barking noise from the large pack of dogs on site opposite was irritating even with all the windows closed you could still hear them at 3.00 a.m. The area is pleasant and the walk to Esholt alongside the River Aire was lovely.

  • "Great place to stay for a few days whilst we have building works being done at home."

Quite noisy with dogs & roosters opposite the property. Though not a big problem for us as we spent more time inside the cottage. Mattress in front bedroom seems to slope to the middle, so may need changing soon. Other than that we had a great stay.

  • "Such a beautiful cosy cottage."

We stayed for a weekend with friends and the house was so spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything was as described. The kitchen was really well equipped with cooking equipment and there was plenty of entertainment from board games to Netflix. Off-road parking for 2 cars too. The owners left us a little food hamper which was a lovely surprise along with some milk, bread and bacon, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We would absolutely recommend this cottage. Only a 10 minute walk from the famous Emmerdale pub too and next door to a driving range. The only thing we said we maybe could have done with was a light outside to light up the path to the hot tub - but it’s possible there was one there that we missed.

  • "A lovely property with excellent facilities."

The welcome pack was excellent and well appreciated. Unfortunately, the stay was slightly marred by the dogs barking at all hours from the traveller's camp across the road.

  • "Still here."

This is our last day, we leave tomorrow. The heavens have opened so we are having a chill day in this absolutely beautiful property. The location is brilliant for exploring west/south yorkshire. We have travelled out to Harrogate, Knaresborough, Howarth, Hebden Bridge and Ilkley. There are a few town a few minutes away by car for all shops ect. There are 3 pubs within walking distance (15-20 mins). Hot tub is very nice, I was a bit sceptical as the hottub is in the front of the property so I thought I wouldn't use it for privacy reasons. However they have done it lovely with trellis and plants I felt comfortable in there. The cottage itself is spacious, comfortable and decorated beautifully. The bed is so soft and comfortable

  • "We had such an amazing weekend at Bluebell farm, the cottage was immaculate and beautifully decorated, everything that we could possibly have needed was available."

The hot tub was sparkling clean and the outside of the cottage was well kept and maintained to a very high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend and would love a return visit in the future. The only slight downside was noise from property opposite, but not enough to spoil our experience.

  • "Three nights with no sleep due to loud barking dogs opposite the holiday home, complained and asked for a part refund only to be told the owner knows about the "loud barking dogs" and she has ordered secondary glazing- that doesn't help us in anyway, there was no mention of barking dogs when we booked."

The large garden in the photos is also a SHARED garden which was not mentioned, cobwebs above the cooker, old food boxes left on top of the fridge, pH stripe thrown on the floor near the hot tub and a pub right next door with music banging about untill 1am. All these issues described as "minor" by the holiday let owner. Very disappointing experience.
