These two outstanding semi-detached courtyard cottages are located on the owners' non-working farm, on the outskirts of the pretty dales village of Carleton-in-Craven, just two miles from Skipton. Carleton-in-Craven is a small village and civil parish in the district of Craven in North Yorkshire, situated two miles from the market town of Skipton. The village contains a Post Office, pharmacy, newsagents and village store. There is also a traditional village pub, The Swan Inn, which serves freshly prepared home cooked meals, available to eat or take-away. Skipton known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. Skipton has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street.
