We had an amazing weekend here, younger couple looking to get out of the city for a weekend which this certainly allowed us to do, and most importantly switch off. The cottage was very cosy and had an abundance of character. We spent bonfire night in the hot tub outside watching the fireworks in the distance and the stars above, absolute perfection. From every window you can see animals and scenic views of Yorkshire. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Some great local pubs ...

The cottage was very cosy and had an abundance of character. We spent bonfire night in the hot tub outside watching the fireworks in the distance and the stars above, absolute perfection. From every window you can see animals and scenic views of Yorkshire. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Some great local pubs around a 20 minute walk away. Owners very helpful and lovely to cut to, on hand if you need them. We took a saloon car but if you have a 4 wheel drive would be useful to drive around in as there are some hilly areas. Would visit again
