  • "We loved everything about Guinea Croft, the cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable."

The garden is beautiful and we spent many hours listening to and watching the birds in the evenings as they came to bathe in the little stone pond. The cottage is in the lovely little hamlet of Conistone where we were able to do many local walks straight from the front door. Although there are no shops in the village it is only a couple of miles to the nearest garage and Spa shop and also near to many other places of interest. Our hosts Roger and Julie gave us a warm welcome and were on hand throughout our holiday, they have a good knowledge of the area and were most interesting to talk to but always respected our privacy. We look forward to staying at Guinea Croft again in the future and definitely recommend to others.

It's a great cottage but what really set it apart was the location - a very peaceful village in beautiful countryside, with lots of walks from the door and a beautiful garden. We loved having sheep, chickens and pheasants in the field next to us and going to sleep listening to the owls hooting outside. The owners were on hand to answer any questions and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would definitely go back.

The views from the front and rear are stunning and the cottage is ideally suited for walkers with beautiful walks on your doorstep. The cottage is superbly appointed with everything you could possibly need and a very generous welcome pack was left by the extremely friendly and helpful owners Roger and Julie. The rear garden is stunning and a sun trap for those wishing to have an evening drink whilst watching the huge variety of visiting birds as well as a red squirrel who was a regular visitor. This cottage was a wonderful find and we will certainly look to return sometime soon.
