    “Exceptional property in a stunning location”

    A truly wonderful stay at Renshaw Farm and a place we will return to. The property is stunning and very well appointed, nestling in an equally stunning location from which to explore the Dales. We started to relax and unwind from the minute we arrived as Jacqui and Steve had thought of everything to make us feel at home and providing those extra touches of luxury. The accommodation is extremely well appointed, there was a generous welcome hamper to greet us, plenty of wood for the log burners and a range of Pure Lakes toiletries to use which turns the morning shower into a mini spa break! We wanted for nothing, it had all been catered for. Listening to the sound of the birds and the quite flow of the river in the distance, being able to watch the sunrise and fall over the Dales then coming inside to settle by the fire, it’s impossible not to relax here. Thank you so much for one of the best holidays we have had in a beautiful home. We are already planning our next visit.

Renshaw Farm is a superb Grade II listed former farmhouse, sitting in the pretty village of Conistone amongst stunning North Yorkshire countryside.

Renshaw Farm is perfect for families, friends, walking and cycling enthusiasts alike, looking to explore an area steeped in history.

The beautiful countryside has renowned walks and recommended cycling routes, along with an array of local villages and market towns to explore.

After a long day sightseeing, you will be welcomed into this stylish holiday home, where you can look forward to a comfortable evening of relaxation.

The property benefits from two sitting rooms, one being open-plan with a large dining table and access to a private patio and separate outdoor dining area with a fire pit, which is sited to take advantage of the beautiful views.

The second sitting room is cosy with a beautiful Inglenook fireplace and Beehive oven, which is reported to have originally provided access to a priest hole.

This room is perfect for unwinding, whether that is chatting with your friends, relaxing in front of the TV or simply getting lost in a good book.

The well-equipped, solid oak kitchen with black worktops showcases this property’s level of quality; the full range of appliances will allow you to prepare meals for the whole family that can be enjoyed together at the large dining table which seats 12 people.

The house provides five spacious bedrooms - situated on two floors - consisting of twin zip and link beds (which can be super king-bed on request), two king-size and two doubles (one of which also has a single day bed).

Two of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and all of them have high-quality furnishings with ample storage for your personal items.

There is a ground floor shower room and a first floor bathroom offering a bath and walk-in shower, so you can enjoy a relaxing evening soak in the tub.

Outside there is a gravelled area and lawned garden with furniture, where you can take a refreshing drink and bask in the afternoon sun whilst taking in the stunning views.

The neighbouring village of Kilnsey has a local park, which offers a range of activities including fishing, nature trails, butterfly gardens and lovely walks.

For a taste of history, venture towards Skipton Castle, dating back 900 years and is considered one of the best preserved castles in England, having withstood a three year siege during the civil war.

It allows access to view the banqueting hall, privy and watchtower, for those who enjoy exploring, venture towards the dungeon!

There are plenty of nearby Yorkshire pubs and restaurants for fine food including The Kings Head, The Devonshire Arms and Black Horse.

Yorkshire is famous for its scenic walks and cycling, many of which can be accessed right from your doorstep!

If it’s a spot of luxury you’re after, then Long Ashes Leisure Centre and Spa offers a leisurely break less than 2 miles away, with plenty of pampering to be had.

With a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym, spa facilities and beauty treatments to enjoy.

Less than ¾ miles away is the wonderful attraction of Kilnsey Park which has two spring fed lakes with opportunities for fishing all year round!

Skipton 9 miles; Ilkley 12 miles.

Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer’s market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous “Strid Walk”. A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Brontë Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.
