  • "Our family group had an amazing stay at Renshaw Farm over the May half term."

The welcome pack of goodies was an unexpected wonderful surprise. The house was immaculate with gorgeous rooms and garden, providing plenty of space for 3 generations with differing evening entertainment tastes. Well equipped kitchen allowed for some super meals. It was my parents golden wedding anniversary during the week we stayed as well as the Queens Jubilee - we had a fantastic outdoor tea party to celebrate. The location is perfect for immediate walks from the door, and access to nearby walks across the Dales as well as Skipton and Harrogate. The pubs in Grassington were great too. We hope to be back one day. Thank you.

So relaxing and such a fabulous quiet spot. Great for walking and being nature. Tiny tiny suggestions 1. Hooks on back of bedroom and shower/bathroom room doors 2. Some form of soap dish/shelves in shower cubicles so the elderly don’t have to bend down 3. A bicycle pump please. Amazing place. We will be back xx

The house is cosy and comfortable with a luxurious feel and it was great to share with friends. The outdoor space is exceptional. We were blessed with some high temperatures so sundowners and breakfast outside was a real treat. We really enjoyed being able to walk from the back door and explore the Dales and are already planning our next visit.

. everything you could wish for was available. My only one critique is the snug only sat 4 people I think that sofa would be better as a nice L shaped and get rid of the TV in the big lounge put another large sofa in to that room Just so you could retreat to a tv lounge if needed amd keep the big (huge beautiful lounge) for playing games and talking! Will be booking again for a break possibly in the summer so we can take advantage of the garden!

The furnishings were all of a very good quality and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The owners had gone to great lengths to make the house cosy and very Christmassy for our stay and the provision of firewood and lovely soaps and hand creams was a lovely extra touch. We can't thank you all enough. The best thing for us as a family with dogs is that the owners trusted us to be responsible and also provided lots of dog essentials had we not brought our own. I wish more holiday lets would include taking dogs. All in all it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful house.

We discovered plenty of walks to do from the front door in this most beautiful part of the world. We all said we would love to return.

  • "Fantastic cottage, extremely well equipped, with 5 bedrooms and 2 living rooms."

The owners had left welcome food and toiletries and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The location is just beautiful, you can walk straight from the cottage or travel further to some amazing places. The ground floor bedrooms were very useful for the older members of our party who are less able to manage stairs, however there are 2 quite deep steps from the kitchen to the main dining/living room and second ground floor bedroom. It wasn't warm enough for us to use the outside table and chairs, but on a nice day in the summer it would be beautiful.

The characterful cottage is nestled in a beautiful hamlet of Conistone with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside easily accessible to walks including the famous "Dib" limestone walk right from the front door. Their house/home was truly amazing, well equipped with every 5* luxury one could want from luxury towels and with extremely comfortable beds with high grade bed linen throughout the bedrooms. The kitchen had everything you could require and more. The welcome gifts give you a clue as to how helpful, informative and at hand the owners are if you need any support. It easily catered for the party of 11 with everyone able to find their own space if they wished. It made our stay very memorable, so much so we can't wait to go back next year!

  • "Everything about this experience has been absolutely brilliant."

From instant chat with Sykes to see whether Renshaw could accommodate my family and their dog related requirements (which they very kindly agreed to), right through to (very sadly) leaving the farmhouse. The owner Jacqui could not do enough for her guests, but not in an overbearing way - she was kind, friendly and helpful and full of suggestions of things to do. The house is beautiful. The fixtures, fittings, crockery, bedding - everything is absolutely top quality and it really was a dream. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of advice and information on how to work everything. Lots of internet extension boxes to boost the signal; they really have thought of everything and I cannot thank them enough. Would absolutely return and one hundred percent recommend. • "I always like to look at the reviews to learn of others experiences before booking, but with this property there weren't any to go by, and as it said new then I assumed that it was new to the Sykes website."

However it was new in all ways, we were the second booking in the property and everything was exceptional. I am happy to give this review so that others can enjoy the experience that we had. The farmhouse is furnished very well and the attention to detail is fantastic, there is everything there that you need for a home from home stay. It was very clean, comfortable and well presented. The thoughtfulness in providing stickers for all the wifi log in's and on the kitchen cupboards so no need to search. Eggs, milk, bread and butter all left, not to mention the staples of tea and coffee and dishwasher tabs. All the little things that you might forget to bring are all there. Some lovely prosecco left in the fridge to chill too !!! There were 9 of us staying in the property for a family get together to pay tribute to our special mum who we lost in January. The whole experience in Yorkshire for the weekend was fantastic and the property made us feel very welcome and very at home. We would recommend this property and will hope to return for another relaxing stay.
