  • "Parking outside the cottage could be an issue, if you have a large car, no rear garden is inconvenient"

  • "There was no back garden so you could get away from the traffic, in fact there is no back door as the farmers fields came up to the kitchen window."

Magnificent hand crafted wooden bed, which unfortunately was on a wooden floor so that every time you turned over there was a lot of loud creaking going on. The area is beautiful, but it seems that farmers have ignored right of ways, and either had gates, building’s or just thick overgrowth. The road is 40mph, but many drivers exceeded that. The pubs are fab with good food and with dogs allowed in. The owners have done a good job, but it wasn’t for us.

  • "Great cottage in great location."

100 m from great pub with fab food. All I needed after long walks. Yes road is busy outside the house, crazy drivers, but didn't bother me at all. Really comfortable cottage.

  • "Excellent accommodation, which exceeded our expectations, very comfortable, very well equipped and lovely views."

Great owners and White Horse Pub up the road is excellent. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

  • "The terraced house was well cared for and modern inside."

However as has previously been noted the road outside was extremely busy with cars and lorries going very fast on what is described as a country road. We were disappointed with the outside space for ourselves and our dogs We were unable to sit outside with a coffee due to the relentless traffic and were worried about our car parked on the road being hit by the traffic. The area is nice to explore and we will return to see more with so many properties to choose from I will read the description and reviews more carefully.

  • "What a "fabuluss" little cottage, well equipt and comfortable."

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend.

  • "The front patio was not fully enclosed, a low wall to the left meant we had to keep my youngest dog on the lead so stopping her from jumping over."

The description did not say that there was a busy road to the front of the property, very noisy. I could not find a first aid kit nor a hoover, I like to hoover before I leave .

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following your stay at Ramblers Cottage, we have now added a first aid kit and are considering adding a vacuum cleaner to the property. The patio at the front of the property is not advertised as being enclosed, I hope you still managed to enjoy the outside space. There is a country road at the front of the property, we have never received any other complaints regarding road noise, but we have now added a note to the listing to make future guests aware of this. Once again thank you for your review. Property Owner
