  • "Very comfortable property, with everything we required."

Hot tub is a great extra. The cottage is in a great position to enjoy Grassington and nearby places. The owners were approachable for advice when needed. We didn’t think the logs provided by the owners were better value than that of the local hardware shop. It’s worth looking around. Slippers/thick socks needed for the tiled floor in the kitchen.

  • "We had a lovely time at End Cottage."

It is in a great location, so convenient for everything in the village, and the local area is really beautiful. Being able to walk out the front door and straight to the chippy, the pub and the shop was great. Lovely comfy beds, cosy front room, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

  • "This is a lovely cottage right in the centre of Grassington."

The back garden is a sun trap (early June) and surprisingly quiet despite nearby cafes. Lovely for sitting in with a morning coffee. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. Bedrooms are stylish but homely. Note, shower is over bath so not so easy for the elderly. The outside loo is needed as a downstairs option - (not at all an ‘outhouse!). Neighbours use the same back ally and bins etc. But they are really friendly. We would stay again.

Bed linen and towels were of the highest quality plus every kitchen implement is provided even a washer and tumble dryer. I would recommend this lovely cottage which though in the centre of Grassington is very quiet with lovel bird song when all is still. I would return tomorrow.

  • "Perfect cottage in the heart of Grassington!"

The cottage has an amazing set up, a home away from home! Perfectly cosy cottage with plenty of living space. The only downside is a bunk bed in one bedroom so if you have all adults staying, it might be tricky. However, the beds are very comfortable and we all had great nights sleep while we were away! I would definitely book this cottage again!

We loved the hot tub which easily fit 5 of us in & the outdoor bathroom was a nice addition. The little welcome basket of homemade scones was a lovely touch. Really good location in the centre of Grassington, had a great breakfast at next door corner house cafe, & enjoyed dinner at the black horse hotel pub.

How tub star gazing not to be missed. Grassington village also a lovely location with some quaint shops and a range of good eating places. When in the Yorkshire Dale's again this is where I will try and stay.

We walked to long ashes on Sunday for lunch and I would recommend that restaurant.

  • "We stayed at End cottage at the beginning of November and we adored our stay."

We've been to the village visiting on a couple of other occasions which we love but it was great to stay in the heart of the village just a stones throw from all the cafe's and shops. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations with all rooms cozy and with all the facilities you'd need. Plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases, really nice little extra's touches (like the delicious scones :)) - and obviously the hot tub which made a for a really lovely dimension to the holiday, being able to get home from a day in the dales, put the little one to bed, to then get in to the tub with it slightly chilly outside but lovely and warm in. Also, the owners were super helpful with recommendations of where to go and see and communication before arrival and during the stay. Really lovely, and we've already discussed going back next year.

We absolutely loved it !! It is perfectly furnished and immaculate. It had even more amenities than we could have hoped for & everything was very high quality. The hot tub was a fantastic added bonus. Our only disappointed was that it wasn’t cold enough to use the real fire. We will definitely return, thank you x

  • "Fabulous cottage."

Perfect for the three of us, 2 adults and 16 year old son. Cottage very clean. Beds very comfortable with great linen and quality towels. Decor lovely as in pictures. Location excellent in heart of grassington with number of good places to eat and drink. We liked the Devonshire Arms and Black Horse both very close. Highlight was the Hot tub! We used it twice a day. Absolute luxury and private. Walking great in local area and around very pretty village. If back in Dales we would return to this cottage. There is no parking facility outside cottage but this was no issue for us as used local car parks close by easily with pass provided by owners.

5 and 8 months). The cottage was absolutely perfect for what we needed and the owners (Jonathan and Kerry) were really welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal right in the heart of Grassington and the property has all the amenities you could ask for. The beds are all super comfortable and the bedding and towels are of really high quality. The garden is lovely and ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or afternoon drink and although we didn’t get around to using the hot tub, it looks very inviting! We would absolutely recommend End Cottage for anyone wishing to stay in or around Grassington and experience the best of the Yorkshire Dales. Ideal for families, couples or a few friends, End Cottage really has it all and we will definitely be going back!

  • "We enjoyed our stay very much thank you, and found the cottage clean & well equipped."

If we go again, we would ask whether the hot tub can be turned off .The only thing that woke me in the night was the hot tub pump, and it seems a waste of energy to have the pool continually at 38* 24/7 for the entire week- we did use it once, and enjoyed it, but would prefer to have it off for the entire week to avoid the continual pump sound going on & off. A reply about this would be helpful, with a view to possible future stays.

Thank you so much for choosing End Cottage. We take immense pride in delivering the best possible experience for all our guests, which is reflected in our fantastic reviews. This is the first time we have had feedback regarding the hot tub noise on an evening. We will of course endeavour to review the pump cycle pattern to ensure that it only comes on during the day. If of course you would prefer to have the hot tub turned off before your arrival this is also something we can arrange. Thank you again for your 100% score rating. We hope to see you again. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The house is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and outside area is lovely there is a utility room outside with a toilet so you don’t have to go in the house whilst using the hot tub. Separate towels for the hot tub and a tumble dryer so able to have dry towels all the time. The owners are amazing and on hand for any questions. It is very centrally located with easy access to shops and bars and restaurants. I highly recommend this property and I will certainly go back. I am already looking at booking again.

It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and decorated to a very high standard. Its also surprisingly large and very homely. It is so central for the village shops and pubs etc. The hot tub is a perfect temperature. The only things that could be of issue is that there is no street parking but permits are provided in the National car park about 6 minutes away which solved this problem. You can drop off luggage etc outside but beware if they are filming All Creatures Great and Small which they do in the village you may need to take this into consideration as access may be more difficult when filming is going on. Also the garden has shared access with the neighbours but they were lovely and considerate and we only saw them a couple of times during our weeks stay.

Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer’s market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous “Strid Walk”. A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Brontë Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.
