  • "Great location, 10 mins from the beautiful Haworth Lane, Haworth is very hilly so do prepare work challenging walks if not very mobile."

The owners produced some excellent information on a downloadable APP, thoroughly recommend engaging with it before arriving to enhance your trip. The accommodation was fab, and as described, we will be returning.

  • "Large beautiful house in great location would highly recommend."

Visited with friends the house provided everything from comfy beds and bedding to cozy nights in by the log burner. Views stunning over to the church and Haworth very impressed with the town and some lovely walks form your door step. We parked at Keighley railway station, then followed a walk from a book that was in the accommodation to oxenhope. Then took the steam train back very nostalgic. Hope to return to explore the area further.

  • "Amazing!! We were emergency housed due to another property from another owner not being suitable, however, the owners of Bronte View made sure the property was available to us in such short notice and was exceptionally clean with stunning views"

. The property has a free standing bath, queen bed, log burner and amazing views of howorth for all your relaxing needs. To sit in the living area with the log burner and Jane Eyre whilst looking over at the Bronte Parsonage was an experience I will not forget. The town of Haworth is steeped in so much history and is magical. Thank you for having us we will definitely be back soon.

  • "We really enjoyed our holiday at the cottage."

It was beautifully clean, and welcoming. We all appreciated the games room, and our family enjoyed using the games on the TV, as well as the football game. The cottage was beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and it was great having an en-suite shower room as well as the bathroom. The views towards Haworth were beautiful. It was great being able to walk into Haworth in just a few minutes and we loved the proximity of the railway station and the high street too. The cottage was great. Thank you.

  • "A lovely house set in a good location with added ample secure parking for two cars."

The house was well equipped with almost everything you could ask for and had stunning views across Haworth. The only reservation was the very step hill up to the property (not the owners fault) and the double bed mattress was in need of replacement due to been able to feel the springs during a very uncomfortable nights sleep. However, we would stay again if we ever in the area.

  • "We had such a lovely stay in this property."

The property was modern, spacious and clean. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Haworth. The property was also in a nice location, only a 5 minute walk to Haworth station and a 10 minute walk to the main street.

  • "I would recommend a stay at Bronte View Cottage and Haworth."

This modern house is well equipped, welcoming and comfortable; with lovely views across the valley and situated in a cul-de-sac we had peaceful, quiet night's sleep. An Idea place for a family with two televisions rooms, the second one is in a games room, my husband and I had great fun playing table football. From the cottage you can walk into Haworth Main Street, which is delightful, with plenty of cafes and pubs. We had some lovely meals out and our dog was made very welcome.. We throughly enjoyed visiting The Bronte Parsonage museum and Church. The 'Railway Children' station and walks to see some of the films locations. We left Bronte View Cottage feeling refreshed and relaxed.

  • "Great house."

Plenty of room and fab views across to the "Bronte" church and older Main Street of the town. Make sure your car breaks and hill starts are up to scratch as the roads to get to the property are very steep. Area the property is located in is very quiet and the walk down to the Mill Hey side of the village to get pizza or curry is about 7 mins. Walk back up might take longer! A walk over to the Main Street and into the coffee shops and eating places will definitely improve your fitness and help burn off a few calories. Plenty of choice of bars and eateries; the Old Registry was particularly good. Out of high season, check the opening times as we got caught out with the bars for serving food and the running times of the steam train. Plenty to do and see. Co-op and Spar close by for stocking up on groceries/alcohol.

  • "A beautifully furnished modern cottage with lovely clean, good quality linen and towels."

All the facilities were well thought out with excellent provision e.g kitchen appliances and equipment. We were provided with a quality fan to help keep us cool in the heatwave, which was hugely appreciated. We would love to return as there was still a lot to see and do in the area.

  • "A big, beautiful house, very clean and in a great location."

The view was stunning, the photos do not do it justice. You can see Haworth main street, the church and the top of the Bronte Parsonage Museum from the back of the house. The road it is on is very quiet and peaceful. Really comfortable beds, we all slept very well each night. Our teenage daughters loved the games room, which is such a good idea. The owner was really nice. We had one tiny issue with a bath plug and it was sorted out immediately. We enjoyed it so much we've already booked to go back later this year.

. spacious, clean and decorated to a lovely standard.. we loved the finishing touches and the kitchen was well equipped. Really enjoyed our stay here and our 7 month puppy did too and she seemed very settled on her first holiday away from home. Location was ideal as it wasn't far from walks, pubs, train station and takeaways.

  • "Bronte View was a perfect choice for our family of five."

Everything you would hope for in a modern family home is there yet it still feels very comfortable and relaxing. It's also a great location for visiting Haworth as it's only about ten minutes walk from the centre but is far enough away to avoid the bustle and has private parking. Spotlessly clean and great comms with the owners, highly recommended.

About the location

HAWORTH

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
