  • "A beautiful apartment."

Very comfortable, lovely touch with teabags, biscuits and milk provided on arrival. Pubs and eating places a matter of minutes away. The Bronte Parsonage and church are just across the road and it is only a ten minute walk from the local bus stop. With bus connections to many of the local towns. As the name (the Attic) suggests it is at the top of the property, so would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues. Other than that brilliant.

  • "Just had our second stay at this great accommodation."

Had an amazing time. The flat is lovely, everything you need and more. The owners are there if you ever need them. It is ideal for exploring the area and Haworth itself is full of lovely independent shops. Can recommend this property to anyone who is thinking of visiting the area. It has its own private parking which is great. Thank you for a lovely break.

Lovely to come into tea milk and biscuits. The attic was lovely clean and welcoming. The location is superb, we didn't move the car all weekend!

  • "Host very welcoming and helpful, obviously care about their guests."

A lovely greeting with tea bags and milk. Couldn't be more central for local amenities and attractions and a big bonus to have parking space. Whilst there is a clue in the name there were still more steps than we had anticipated but no problems for anyone younger and fitter than us. Limited head room in parts and bed very low to compensate for this. Hanging space for clothing either very low or so high you struggle to reach it but plenty of drawer space and well thought out shower room.

Small but adequate kitchen and bathroom. Based on photos we were concerned that the chairs may not be comfortable for relaxing in the evening but they were good. Bed was comfortable.

Always nice to receive a welcome pack of essentials, milk tea and biscuits. You could not wish for a better location and dedicated off road parking is a huge bonus especially in the centre of Haworth. Lots to do on your doorstep with excellent pubs and eateries all nearby.

  • "Overall the flat was very nicely presented."

One problem for me was that the bathroom, being in the roof, has a very low ceiling, which for me was very uncomfortable (I'm 6'4"). Also the broadband was somewhat unreliable -- one evening we had to abandon watching the BBC iPlayer, as it was stuck in permanent buffering.

  • "Lovely flat in an excellent location!"

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend stay at The Attic. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The location was right beside everything we needed and included a parking space just outside. The flat was very clean, nicely finished with no issues whatsoever. Perfect for 2. Haworth has some excellent pubs and restaurants (some literally a couple of doors down), with plenty to offer in and around the village, but still within easy reach of places such as Malham Cove aswell.

Nice and clean with everything you require. The shower could be temperamental. Stairs to the loft quite tight and steep if you struggle walking but no more than the steep Haworth walk ! Haworth a lovely surprise. Quirky and different with friendly people. Enjoyed the accommodation and Haworth.

The Attic was a very clean and comfortable property, but unfortunately the heating system was totally inadequate for a Winter letting. One small electric radiator to heat quite a large room, luckily a fan heater was available which made it more bearable!

About the location

HAWORTH

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
