  • "A lovely, clean and cosy flat right in the heart of Haworth overlooking the cobbled Main Street."

It had everything you could need for a few days stay. Thank you to Peter for leaving us the soya milk, very thoughtful. The biscuits were delicious too! There were some lovely walks and we enjoyed walking around the churchyard, spotting the young jackdaws. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday home

It was very clean and comfortable, very quiet at night too. Ideally situated at the top of Howarth, Main Street and close to most of the eating facilities. The only thing missing was perhaps local some information about where to eat if you want breakfast and an evening meal out. Thanks to Jill and Peter for making us welcome.

  • "Wow what can we say, excellent property in prime location."

Extremely comfy bed, everything was spotless, all you needed in the kitchen and nice little touch of Yorkshire tea bags, milk and biscuits, just what we needed when we arrived. Haworth itself is like stepping back in time, quirky independent shops, great country pubs, excellent walks from doorstep. Ideal for base for Touring local villages. We will definitely be back.

  • "Situated at the top of the beautiful main street, this was the perfect flat from which to experience the wonders of Haworth!"

The flat itself is bright, comfortable and clean with everything you need. It's on the first floor with windows on 3 sides with views of cobbled streets, church steeple and parkland, plenty of good pubs and cafes are a few minutes walk away. For Bronte fans, it's 2 minutes from the Parsonage, and a short distance from the mighty moors. The flat is very private but the owners are easily contactable and key pick up etc is very easy. I can't recommend it highly enough, I loved my stay there.

Gill (owner) and her son Peter were very helpful whenever we needed advice. The flat was immaculately clean and nicely furnished and decorated in a modern design. The living room has windows on 2 corners giving excellent views over the main cobbled street. Plenty of places to eat out within a few minutes walk. Reserved safe parking at the back of the flat so we could leave the car and walk locally. Would thoroughly recommend.

The Flat benefits from having a private parking space. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and milk, tea and biscuits were left for us. In my opinion the Flat has the best position in Haworth, at the top of Main Street a couple of minutes from the Bronte parsonage, next to very good restaurants, Haworth Steam Brewing Co, Pave and The Fleece Inn, booking essential, and next door to a lovely fish and chip shop. We found everyone friendly, we would not hesitate to book again.

It was very clean and had every facility you need. It is situated right in the middle of Haworth and it was nice to watch the world go by from the front window. The car parking space was especially welcome given the location in the middle of the village. The owner, Jill, was always helpful in dealing with queries and making recommendations. I would recommend the property to any couple but be aware it is on the first floor so the entrance is up a flight of stairs.

The host was very friendly and always on hand if needed. It is in an enviable position at the top of Haworth main street convenient for shops, restaurants, pubs etc. On the subject of pubs, there are two very nearby ones, and during our stay there were parties going on during the evening and the noise was pretty intrusive, but that should be taken into account when booking somewhere in a village location. But do not let that put you off booking this property it is great for exploring a gorgeous area and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Probably the best location in Haworth! A really lovely spacious well equipped apartment a bit of a home from home feel. You're right in the middle of Haworth with about 6 or 7 lovely pubs all a short walk from the flat. Also the bonus is there is a dedicated parking space behind the flat which means you can have worry free parking when exploring Haworth. The hosts were great and really helpful. Will stay again as the flat is great and location even better.

It is also very well equipped. We couldn't have wished for anywhere better. The owners of The Flat were also very helpful and very friendly. Parking provided which is ideal as parking is at a premium in the village. First floor flat with ideal proportions; lounge/kitchen/dining, separate bedroom en-suite. Modern furnishings compliments the smart layout. The only thing missing would be a full-length mirror in the bedroom. The Flat is just yards from the many shops, pubs and cafes and next door to a superb fish and chip shop. Definitely worth mentioning in the current climate the additional effort the owners had gone to in terms of the provision of sanitising products; sprays, wipes, spare masks, etc. Don’t miss the Keighley & Worth Valley railway just 2 miles away or the Bingley Five Rise locks less than 10 miles by car. Highly recommended!

  • "The flat was very clean, well appointed and in a good location for exploring the town."

The owners were friendly and helpful and It was useful to have a parking spot at the rear of the premises. It had most things needed for a break but a microwave and a teapot would have helped a lot. The radiator in the lounge/dining area was a bit under powered for the size of the room and although warm near the dining area the other half of the room did not benefit from it, even when the temperature was turned up. The flat was in a good spot for exploring Haworth (Bronte museum, vicarage and church yard and Park) and it’s numerous interesting shops. It was only a 9-10 minutes walk to the railway station for a trip on Keighley & Worth Valley Steam railway. At Keighley, if you turn right out of the station and walked about 400 yards, there is a good Toby Carvery. Other places we visited were Riddlesden Hall (National Trust property) and Bingley 5 Rise locks ( nice walks nearby with another set of 3 Rise locks only 200 yards downhill) with a useful small canal side cafe. Opposite The Flat is The Kings Arms pub and close to that is The Old White Lion pub where we had a very nice lunch. Almost next door to The Flat is a good Fish and chip shop. All in all a good few days break.

We felt so comfortable and so at home and spent a lot of time relaxing there watching the world go by on the cobbled street below. Everything in our apartment seemed fresh and new. Immaculate in fact. Beautifully and tastefully decorated with no clutter and an almost Scandinavian feel to it. We had our own parking space round the back of the property which was ideal. It was in a very central location with shops, restaurants and bars on the doorstep. The Bronte Parsonage Museum was about 2 minutes walk away and there were plenty of walks starting from Haworth leading to other villages and the moors. We walked to Top Withins on a very wet day but it was worth getting soaked in order to experience the atmosphere and scenery. I couldn't fault this beautiful holiday apartment and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

About the location

HAWORTH

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
