Esholt is a quaint little village resting peacefully between Shipley and Guiseley, in the metropolitan district of the City of Bradford.
Interestingly, the village was once used to film scenes for the soap opera 'Emmerdale' from 1976 to 1997, until they moved to a purpose built replica of Esholt, on the Harewood Estate; pleasant walks amble through the village, where you can stop off for a refreshing drink at the local pub on the way; The Woolpack, once used for filming, is situated in the heart of Esholt, serving delicious drinks, food and a friendly atmosphere.
Close by is the West Yorkshire town of Shipley, situated near Bradford, with the River Aire running through.
