The views are spectacular. Should you want peace and quiet then this is for you Regards walking distance to Howarth, the distance given is probably correct but be aware that it is up a steep hill which even in the car you are only in second gear in order to climb it.

Haworth village center 0.5 miles. On a prominent hillside, in beautiful rolling countryside with uninterrupted views of Haworth, these three Haworth cottages, Haworth Farmhouse, Stable Loft and Stable Cottage, are situated on a lovely farm estate in the heart of Bronte Country. These delightful Haworth cottages have been carefully restored from old farm buildings, with parts dating back to the early 17th century. All of these cottages near Haworth have been comfortably furnished and decorated, retaining much of their original character and charm, making the two smaller properties Stable Loft and Stable Cottage ideal for two couples looking to explore the nearby Yorkshire Dales together, or combined with the larger Haworth Farmhouse is perfect for larger family gatherings or groups of friends to get together. Positioned in shared, spacious grounds, each of these Haworth cottages boasts fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, and outside, the large lawned garden with patio and furniture offers the perfect place for a quiet drink on a sunny evening, where the views extend towards the moors containing the haunting ruins of Top Withens, plus all three of these holiday homes surrounded by acres of farmland over which visitors can walk to Haworth or to the river at the bottom of the owner’s fields. The Haworth Farmhouse has the addition of a private lawned garden for that extra bit of luxury. Formerly home to the Bronte sisters, Haworth is steeped in literary history and has much to offer visitors including traditional pubs, restaurants and cafes. A variety of walks can be found from the cottage grounds, allowing visitors to dreamily follow the footsteps of Cathy and Heathcliff across the fantastic rugged moorland. Skipton is nearby with its cobbled streets and delightful castle, offering ready access to the Yorkshire Dales, whilst further afield is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate which boasts fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the fantastic Royal Pump Room Museum. About the location

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
