The central heating was on a timer operated from the owners side of the property with no other form of heating in the cottage that we could turn on as required. No oven cloth which presented a risk getting things out of the oven. No mention was made that the exit from the property was on a bend and therefore was difficult at times exiting. Other than that it was a lovely location and we very much enjoyed the area and would go back to the same cottage again. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fishing in the canal but would add that we did contact the local fishing association and the secretary was was extremely helpful when he purchased the permit even providing bait for him to use, my husband also had a rod licence which he obtained prior to travelling and would recommend anyone wanting to fish do so.
