The property

Perfectly placed on top of the moors, Shepherd’s Rest is a beautiful three bedroom mid-terrace cottage filled with character.

Part of a farmhouse and stone-built, this cottage is situated in the rural area of Midgely, Hebden Bridge, making it an ideal retreat to take in the surroundings and put your feet up.

When entering the property you are immediately faced with the well-equipped kitchen and there is a window above the sink with stunning views that would make anyone want to do the washing up!

There are many characteristics within the property including wooden beams and stone-wall features that, along with the open plan living space and woodburner, give the cottage an earthy and cosy feel.

Up the wooden stairs to the first floor is home to two bedrooms comprising one double and one twin, as well as a luxury shower room with double shower.

Further up another set of stairs will lead you into the eaves of the cottage where there is another double bedroom home to a Velux window that allows the room to feel bright and airy with fantastic views.

To the outside of the cottage there are patio areas both to the front and back, in which both have furniture, and off road parking for two cars.

Since the front patio area is south-facing, some would say it was ideal for a glass of wine after a long day of exploring!

The property is situated right next to the Calder Way and is reached by a stile from the field.

You can find some amenities necessary in the village of Midgley, it offers a local shop along with the beautiful views of the moors beyond.
