“An excellently appointed cottage in a great area with friendly, welcoming, informative hosts.”
“This cottage is an absolute gem.”
Exceedingly clean and comfortable, well equipped and with a bed almost the size of a small county. A great location wonderful views, and a very friendly (and quiet) donkey. The owners popped in to make sure we had all we needed and made us feel most welcome. 5* Charles. Gloucestershire
“Comfortable Cottage, wonderful views, extremely comfortable Superking Bed!”
! Yours hosts leave goodies for you, by the time you leave you feel like you are one of the family. Will definately return. Mark & Wendy
“If your thinking of going to stay here go!”
Exceeded our expectations, from the warm welcome to extremely well appointed cottage. Extra comfy bed, and thoughtful extras. Day after day of walking from the door, spectacular scenery and the odd trip to one of the pubs that are just a walk away. Already planning when we can return.
“Gorgeous, comfortable cottage with stunning views.”
Gorgeous and comfortable cottage in a wonderfully peaceful location. The views across the valley are stunning, whether from the living room or the bedroom - A bedroom that contains the most comfortable king size bed I’ve ever slept on. Plenty of walks and cycling opportunities direct from the door of the cottage, with Haworth, Hebden Bridge and Stanbury close by, each with friendly pubs serving real ale and home cooked food. This is a holiday cottage where you can find peace, or an outdoor adventure, depending on your mood at that moment. I was sad to leave...
“The owner is very welcoming.”
The property is so beautiful and the views from the the property is outstanding. Very comfortable cottage and the bed is fantastic. The area is lovely around the property. I'll book it again.

“This little Cottage was perfect for us to disappear for a short while and have a really quiet rest away from it all in an area we know very well.”
Everything we needed was provided and the Cottage was very clean and tidy and fully stocked with household needs even down to toilet rolls ! No noise and Car Parking at the door ! Beautiful scenic views from the lounge and bedroom windows with the Jacob sheep never far away ( no noise ! ). Very convenient for our trips to Hebden Bridge, Haworth, Skipton and Harrogate and the SatNav never got lost once. Oxenhope Station is the first on the old Steam railway trip to Keighley. We new what we wanted before we left home and this little cottage supplied it all.
“Peaceful location with magnificent views and access to great walks”
This charming comfortable cottage is located in a quiet spot but it is not isolated. It is one and a quarter miles from Haworth, the home of the Bronte sisters so it is ideal for visiting places of interest connected with them. It is also a perfect spot for walkers. Many walks can be accessed from the cottage. The cottage is well equipped and the bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The views from the cottage are stunning. We had a lovely relaxing stay and plan to return.
“Ideal location for terrific walking”
Lovely location , very clean and we equipped . Very large comfortable bed . For us the best feature was it's central location for walking . We covered about 70 miles in the South Pennines In 6 days at different places from Ponden to Hebden Bridge and Including a stroll into Haworth through the country park on our arrival day for lunch thanks to our hosts allowing us in early to store our perishable food . They also met us to show us how everything worked from wi-fi to recycling
“For people like us who enjoy outdoor activities but at the same time like to be within easy reach of other places of interest this charming comfortable cottage provided it all.”
It is set in the heart of Bronte country with picture postcard views tranquil but not remote.
“The location of the cottage was very good - quiet with beautiful views.”
Also, it was convenient to get to places of interest. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts, Michael and Tracy are friendly and helpful.
“Beautiful Cottage, Amazing Views!”
What a wonderful cosy cottage with fantastic views! The cottage itself was charming and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner Tracey was lovely + the extra touch of trifle + wine was just what we needed after a 5 hour car journey! The cottage is the perfect base to visit the area, with the beautiful town of Haworth being only a 30minute walk away (5 mins in the car), the steam railway / museum is also worth a visit! We will definitely be staying there again and recommending the cottage to family / friends.
“Superb location for walking in the South Pennines , we did about 70 miles that week with 6 long walks at different locations which the cottage was centrally positioned for eg Ponden and Hebden Bridge as well as a lovely stroll through the country park to Haworth for lunch on arrival day.”
(Thanks to the owners allowing us in early to store our food .) Lovely and clean greeted on arrival and shown how everything worked such as Wi-Fi ,TV and recycling system. The bed is enormous and very comfortable . Plenty of hot water for much needed baths and showers
“What a fantastic holiday cottage!”
Everything you could ask for and the views were incredible, the pictures do not do it justice. The whole booking process was quick and easy, and the owner Tracey was lovely, going the extra mile to make sure we had all the information about the cottage / directions before our stay. We will definately be visiting the cottage again and would recommend to family + friends.
“This cottage is perfectly located to see North Yorkshire.”
It was very clean and comfortable loved the views from the lounge and bedroom windows, We got lucky with the weather and had a brilliant holiday
The photos do not do this cottage justice: I was pleasantly suprised and my expectations were massively surpassed. I could not have asked for a better location. The cottage itself was charming and homely and a lot bigger than the pictures suggest. The views are what makes this cottage so special. Words could not do the views justice but if i were to descrive them in a few words id say you'd find it hard to look away. The bed itself is huge enough to fit 4 small people in so you have plentiful space to spread out. The bed does not compare to the luxurious and deep filled traditional bath and you find yourself ignoring the shower more and more. Tracy and Michael the hosts went above and beyond and are such lovely and friendly folk. It was coming up to Easter when I got a knock at my door only to be surprised with an Easter egg chocolate basket! This had to be my highlight of my stay because it was not expected but they did it anyway. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would certainly come again. Many thanks for such a wonderful stay
Beautiful cottage in fantastic location with spectacular views. Very well equipped and soooo comfy! Great hosts, really friendly and helpful. Appreciated the lovely welcoming touches, thank you. Had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
“Booked on behalf of my parents and Tracy and Michael could not do enough to help us with our booking.”
Excellent services excellent cottage excellent location. In fact I could quite easily live there myself. Book in confidence. Thanks Justin
What an absolute pleasure our stay at 17 Moorside turned out to be. The views are unbelievable.......(fellas, if your better half has ever told you that you're not as romantic as you used to be, surprise her by whisking her to this cottage pronto). It is very comfortable and well appointed. We were made to feel very welcome by Tracey the owner, who provided a fantastic welcome package. You really don't need to bring much at all. There are lots of lovely walks and better still some great local pubs. Book with confidence.

About the location
Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.
The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
