The property

A cosy semi-detached cottage in the picturesque village of Summerbridge near Pateley Bridge.

Full of character and charm with a small but pretty, mature garden, this cottage provides spacious accommodation for groups of up to five to sample the delights of this wonderful area.

Set over two floors, on the first floor two bedrooms are on offer served by a family bathroom.

The kitchen/diner provides a lovely sociable space to gather and have a chat about the day ahead and the room flows into a delightful south-facing conservatory at the rear of the house.

Outside is a patio area, ideal for sitting out and enjoying an evening drink.

The cottage is in an enviable location, close to Summerbridge's amenities and a short walk down the lane and you will find the River Nidd, offering lovely walks to work up a thirst before sampling the fantastic village pubs.

A day out in nearby Harrogate is not to be missed, boasting a wide variety of quaint pubs, tempting restaurants and colourful antique shops, with attractions including the magnificent Turkish & Health Spa Baths, theatre and Bettys Tea Room - overlooking Montpellier Gardens and International Conference Centre.

Slightly further north is Fountains Abbey and the historic city of Ripon is easily accessed, with its impressive cathedral, fascinating museums, pubs, interesting shops, homely tea rooms and fine restaurants.

With beautiful surrounding countryside to explore and the Yorkshire Dales nearby, this Summerbridge cottage is the perfect base for a relaxing break, any time of the year!

A charming Dales village nestling in the steep-sided valley of the River Nidd, just three miles from Pateley Bridge. Summerbridge also has a scattering of dwellings, farms, a local shop, garages, post office, pub and an excellent butcher. Nearby is the market town of Pateley Bridge, offering quaint little alleys and yards off the steep main street, with many interesting shops offering a wide range of unusual gifts and mementos. The town is well-known for its prize-winning floral displays, whilst the leisure centre offers splendid sports facilities and the riverside park with bandstand and children's play area is not to be missed. Also worth a visit are the town's King Street Workshops and the award winning Nidderdale Museum - a lively collection of displays illustrating all aspects of Dales life in the past. Elegant Harrogate is also well worth a visit. Up and downstream, the Nidd Valley offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing and birdwatching.
