Stayed with my wife and 2 year old for 5 nights in March.
Amazing cosy cottage with all the original features and some modern surprises as well.
Dining room leads down into the lounge with a wood burning stove and large tv and some reclining sofas!
The kitchen on the same level is well equipped with everything you need.
Up the stairs are the two large double bedroom both with cots for wee ones.
The bathroom is also large with a great rainfall shower and large jacuzzi bath.
The location has its own parking spot and sits in the middle of Pool-in-Wharfdale.
Pool has a couple of nice pubs and a small shop/post office. Otley has more to offer shopping wise and is only 4 miles away.
We used the bus from the village to the nearest train station at Weton (2-3miles) and got the regular train into Leeds (30mins)
We also explored Harrogate, York, Harewood House (well tried it doesn’t open till spring!) and Ilkey. All with-in a short drive from Pool.
Brilliant place and would recommend it fully. If we head back to Yorkshire and Leeds we’ll defo stay here again.
Only point to note it is not wheelchair accessible nor would I recommend it for a kid that can’t manage the stairs.
