The quality of items was top class and I really loved the annexe. If I was made to find fault with anything I think my only gripe was there was no tea bags...That's it that is all I could find to complain about..We loved it.

  • "Very well situated detached cottage."

One bedroom upstairs and one downstairs. No problems with parking opposite. Cold weather when we were there meant we had to use central heating which worked very well. We also used oven and hob both very effective. WiFi good signal but phone signal weak on O2 service, had to go in front garden where it worked OK. Very comfortable stay with unmissable Brimham rocks close by.

The cottage is very well equipped and has a handy separate utility room. The enclosed garden at the back was great for the dog to roam around in. Comfortable and a home from home. Surroundings were beautiful. The only comment I would make which the owner would have no control over is cars speeding through the village which is clearly marked 30 mph The council need to put in speed bumps like many villages in France to combat this behaviour from inconsiderate motorists. We really felt like we were treated as guests rathet than just paying customers, and it was the thoughtfull little things like having fresh bars of good soap in each bathroom, a welcome basket of goodies and homely things that make a difference like potted plants around the house and egg cups in the kitchen (cottages in our experience never have egg cups!). It all made a huge difference on one day of the holiday when we wre utterly rained out. Would stay here again anytime!
